Lightweight, and folds up small for storage. I bought this for international pistol shooting competitions where I need to block out noise and protect my ears but still be able to hear people speak (electronic earmuffs not allowed). Does a great job and is very comfortable for extended wear after the addition of gel earcups.

Fit, feel great. Slim muffs, hug my fat head good and fit over my ears perfect. The adjustments for fitting is really only friction on the thin metal bracket holding each ear muff, but it's working good, not loose (like I had from some Howard Leight powered muffs). There's another version of these just slightly priced higher, I think they too go by the name LOF. I had a pair of them, they did not fit as well. Didn't fit over my head as well and the ear pieces were smaller, not fully covering my ear. Tiny head, get those. For about 18 bucks shipped free, there's not any reason not to get these. They block sound good, but I still use those soft sponge type ear plugs with em. These muffs for the price, fit, comfort, are awesome. No batteries required with these puppies. They come packed in an easy to open cardboard box. The slightly higher priced versions, which did not fit me as well were in a PITA plastic covering required a knife to open them.

I bought these to block out the loud TV sounds coming from an adjacent room in our house. They definitely help, but are not totally noise-cancelling. For the price, these are a good option, and are adjustable, folding up to a small profile.

I find this earmuff comfortable, low profile and good quality. The sound-deadening is adequate. I use them for both the shooting range and when I'm in the welding shop around noisy machines. Most earmuffs work fairly good, but what I really like about these is how compact they are. I have a lot of stuff in my gun case and welding tool box, so I really appreciate how little space required by this small earmuff.

My school uses these in the proctored testing area. I bought a set because I know from wearing them that they work really well. You can hear with them on, but it cuts way down on the distraction of constant chatter. I imagine I look pretty funny wearing them at school but I do when we have downtime. I like to be able to work on my assignments during school downtime and the constant chatter from my large class makes it impossible to concentrate on anything. These have solved that problem. They fold up really compact to make them easy to carry around and they seem sturdy enough to last a long time. I'd definitley recommend them if you are looking to cut down on background noise for whatever reason.

I have these and the electronic sports from this company and both are great. I find both comfortable but these seem to fit my ears better since they have deeper ear pockets since there is no electronic piece/speaker. For non - shooting or loud popping noises these are good. For shooting or hunting the impacts are what you want but these are good aswell. The advantage is the ability to have super hearing when you crank up the microphone volume on the electronics. I would say the electronics for those with already bad hearing or if you want to plug your headphones into the plane audio jack when watching movies on a plane. Otherwise get these and enjoy because besides masking gunshots and amplifying voices or animal sounds around you they are identical.

Bought these on others recommendations. Barely used them for a year, and once I started using them, the plastic on top snaped in half. Total junk, your better off buying some cheap stuff from the box stores. Useless.

This is very good ears protection against all sounds. The sound protection is very good. These earmuffs are so good and confortable that I put them on my ears and I fell asleep 2 minutes after that. You can sleep with them, they are very comfortable. They put no pressure against the ears, and they are thin and elegant. A comment from me: when they arrived and I put them I said that they are too small, but immediately after I found that they are adjustable. After adjusting them, I found that they are not too small for my big head. Thus I am saying thank you. They arrived here in Eastern Europe 6 days after they were shipped. Fast and convenient!

Excellent quality. Ideal sounding blocking headphones for a classroom. Purchased for a 10 year old strong academic achiever. Not embarrassing, other classmates express interest in using. Compact for school desks.
