Drill America #54 cobalt drill bits (12 pack), Great value and they work well on steel
These drill bits are a good value, and they can actually drill a hole through 3/16" steel. I had purchased Max Tool No. 54 drill bits, and they would not penetrate the steel plate and were useless for my project, so I bought the Drill America no. 54 drill bits and they work great. I would buy these drill bits again.

Nice drill bits
Needed these #60 drill bits for a project involving drilling through 304 stainless steel. And, these worked great. Only broke a few, probably due to using a hand drill, not a drill press. Oh well, price of drilling small holes in stainless!

Almost perfect
10 out of the 12 look very nice with a quality grind. Also very sharp. Two of them were ground wrong, evidently slipped by inspection.. 10 out of 12 not bad but don’t count on all of them being good..

Drilling through work hardened stainless steel plate isn't easy but these cobalt drills perform well at a good price. I've resharpened them to extend their useful lifespan. I've purchased a few times already and will order more when I need them.

These worked great for me on tough metal where other bits failed.
These work great for drilling out broken fasteners. Tried many different types of bits: carbide, T-15’s, HSS, …but this little set got me through. These cut well and function impressively. When I encounter some tough drilling, I’ll search for more of these. The cut quality and the metal being removed was noticeable right from the start. Very pleased with this item. Value for the quality. All the best.
