We purchased this for our son and it arrived in a timely fashion and was so easy to assemble. I was hesitant to purchase a bicycle online for the fact of assembly however you cannot find them in stores. So pleased to find this to be easy to assemble. The plastic for the rear brake handle was broken and the customer services was quick and prompt at getting us a replacement so the kiddo could go and enjoy his new bike! HIGHLY recommended!!!

Sweet lil bike for the money… I think back in the day that bike would cost a lot more…pretty sure it’ll get my 8 year old through to the next level of transportation… bikes sturdy and ready for street thrashing’s… looks just as good as the next price point Mongoose IMO…!

My son loved the style of the bike, but unfortunately the brakes broke on the first day of use. The overall build feels cheap and low quality, especially the brake components. We’re very disappointed with the durability and expected better.

There was something off with back breaks. We took the bike to the shop for professionals to make sure it all assembled correctly. They adjusted breaks but after few rides it was off again :( It is a birthday present for my son and I feel very unhappy that I have to go to the shop again to fix issue.

I bought this bike for my son’s bday. He absolutely loves it! It was just what he wanted and looks exactly like the pictures shown.

This seems like a nice, reasonably-priced bike. But then you need to factor in the cost of taking it to a bike shop to be professionally assembled. The assembly manual is lousy. It’s one of those one-sized-fits-all where it gives directions on how to assemble numerous models and you have to figure out which of the instructions apply to your bike and which don’t. Since the bike has also been somewhat pre-assembled, there are also parts of the manual which do not apply at all. My husband and I are usually pretty good with this stuff t neither of I could make sense of it. Now we will be adding to the overall cost to pay someone else to finish the job in order to ensure it’s safe for our kids to ride.

Paint is great, sturdy, thicker than normal brake pads, and most importantly my son loves it.
