Airties Air 4921 Smart AT&T Wi-Fi Extender- Wireless Access Point- 1600Mbps Dual Band 3x3 802.11ac (Renewed)

First: I needed direct line of site AND within 40 feet to get through two walls. Second: bandwidth (down and up speeds) reduced by 60% once attached to the extender. Great coverage if you can conquer those challenges. So: if you are looking to ‘throw’ signal to a dead spot—like I needed—and need access for 5 or so devices, works great. If you’re trying to set this up halfway across a big house, probably need to try something else. Setup was a breeze.

This does not work with the BGW-500 router. AT&T changed the software so new installations of this extender will not work.

Works as described, no complaints.

I installed it as per directions, it showed up as offline. I decided to just leave it for a while. after about 10 minutes or so, it appeared on the smarthome app as online and devices were connecting to it.

I bought this guy to help my router since I saw some devices being dropped. My house isn’t even that big but since adding this extender o have had NO dropped signals and it works seamless with the AT&T router.

Wouldn't pair with gateway. Even had an AT&T technician look at it, and he couldn't make it work, either. I returned it.

Definitely does not work as well as the 4971. Had to return.
