That’s when I decided to try the RENPHO Smart Body Tape Measure—and honestly, I wish I’d bought it sooner! The setup was super easy. It connects right to the RENPHO app, which I already use with my smart scale, so all my measurements are in one place. The retractable tape and locking mechanism make it simple to use even when measuring myself—no awkward fumbling or guessing. I can track my waist, hips, arms, thighs, and more in just a few minutes. What I love most is being able to see actual body composition changes over time, not just a number on the scale. I’ve already noticed small improvements in my measurements, and that’s been incredibly motivating. The build quality feels solid too—it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy like other tape measures I’ve tried. I was excited to use this product particularly as it's the first electronic Bluetooth tape I've had. The problem is that the tape device buttons have to be touched hard to have an effect and the app isn't intuitive to use nor is it practical. In reality, the bad points: 1. Hard to figure out precisely how to take measurements for various body parts accurately. e.g. which area on the waist to measure? 2. Screen keeps going off. 3. Measurements keep reverting to inches instead of cm as I selected in the settings. 4. Hard to 'click in' the bit for the accurate measurement 5. Impossible to see how to do the waist-hip ratio from the app 6. Learning videos are via youtube but only show for the scale. You have to search for the tape video and even then when you find it, it doesn't go into detail if you are ready to take your body measurements. 7. Everytime you take a measurement, you have to press the confirmation more than once for it to register. Then get out of the circumference area to press a "+" sign to get underwhelming advice on how to measure the next part (i discovered this on my second measurement time, it should be obvious). The first time I googled how to accurately measure one's neck etc 8. I've bought the massage gun with the same brand and it's not obvious whether it integrates with this app although it would make sense to. I've tried adding the new product but can't find anywhere to do that. 9. Clunky and not practical to operate.

Franchement, je recommande à 100 % pour celles et ceux qui veulent un outil précis, connecté, et super simple à utiliser !

Works well and easy to use especially if you are doing the measurements yourself. Very accurate and the app is the biggest advantage as you don't need to jot down the figures. Plotting your progress is made even easier.

The tape measure came exactly as described and it works perfectly. I love that the tape measure snaps into the bottom and you can use one hand to tighten it up and get a precise measurement. It works with the same RENPHO app that the scale uses so you can track all of your data in one place, which is so nice if you are also using the RENPHO scale. The measurement also syncs right into the app so it makes measuring your whole body quick. You can track your trends and see how your body is changing from week to week. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking to lose weight and want another way of tracking your progress other than just a number on a scale. What I didn’t expect is just how useful this tape measure would be. I bought this because I started a weight loss journey using GLP-1s after years of struggling with my weight due to PCOS and insulin resistance. In the last 3 years, my weight has fluctuated within a range from 170 lbs to 230 lbs. It constantly goes up and down and because of that, I have no idea what size clothing I wear. I have clothes that range from way too big to way too small and I have no idea what size to even buy anymore. This tape measure has been so helpful in deciding what size I should buy. I use the measurements from the app and compare to the size guide for clothing and can finally get a size that actually fits on my body. It’s so useful because sizing varies between brands and I’m able to just open the app and compare my measurements whenever I’m shopping. For that reason, this little device can be useful to everyone whether you’re losing weight or just trying to find clothes that fit you well. I didn’t expect how useful this thing would turn out to be but I’m so glad I bought it.
