Works just like it says on the packaging! Decent product to fit nicely into my RENPHO device eco system! Highly recommend if your in a body recomposition phase or doing a bodybuilding show

I reluctantly bought another one of these as the first one stopped working after a couple of years, otherwise I would have given this a 5 star review. ( I did try to replace the battery but no joy) The tape is so much easier to use than a standard tape measure as it records directly on the app. Also links to the same app as the scales so everything is in one place and shows progress. Cost is good.

Perfect tool for tracking real progress!I’ve been on a fitness and weight loss journey for the past few months, and I realized that the scale doesn’t always tell the full story. That’s when I decided to try the RENPHO Smart Body Tape Measure—and honestly, I wish I’d bought it sooner!The setup was super easy. It connects right to the RENPHO app, which I already use with my smart scale, so all my measurements are in one place. The retractable tape and locking mechanism make it simple to use even when measuring myself—no awkward fumbling or guessing. I can track my waist, hips, arms, thighs, and more in just a few minutes.What I love most is being able to see actual body composition changes over time, not just a number on the scale. I’ve already noticed small improvements in my measurements, and that’s been incredibly motivating. The build quality feels solid too—it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy like other tape measures I’ve tried.If you’re serious about tracking your fitness or body transformation, this little gadget is 100% worth it. It’s accurate, convenient, and makes progress feel measurable (literally!).

I bought this because I already use and love the Renpho scale and skipping rope, but this smart tape measure is absolute trash. The mechanical design is a total failure.The locking pin is incredibly tiny and far too fiddly to line up blindly around your body. Worse, if you leave the pin in to move it to a different body part, the internal sensor glitches out and resets the screen back to zero. I spent 20 minutes fighting with this thing and ended up with zero measurements.Save your sanity and your time. Do not buy this piece of rubbish—just buy a standard £2 manual tape and type the numbers into the app yourself.

Other reviewers criticised accuracy. They are wrong. If you read the instructions online it explains why the circumference measurements are different (2.1cm larger) to the length measurements due to the way you connect the pin on the tape into the device. It is really easy to use as you make it larger, put it around the body part, connect the pin and then retract by pressing the button on the side until it fit snuggly around the body part and gives accurate almost hands-free measurements.All go instantly to app but you save it when you are happy and move onto next part. All measurements have title and result displayed on app but it also shows it on the lcd screen as well. Can easily switch from cm to inches and back or circumference/length. It tracks everything to a graph. If you also have renpho scales both sets of data are on same app with a separate tab for each.There are a limited number of measurements you can track but all the key ones are default (e.g. Hips, bust/Abdomen, thighs, biceps, waist) and there are enough spares to cover all my body measurements (I manually had to add wrists, ankles and knees)It also calculates and tracks hip to waist ratio (which is a much more useful indicator of health than BMI)So far no issues with battery which other reviewers commented on but I have not had it long enough to need to change the battery that came with it and had no problems putting in the battery supplied. They are the standard large CR watch batteries that all these types of device use.The app was easy to use and download.I love it. If you don't want an app just buy a standard tape measure, but to track progress when on weight loss or fitness it is awesome.App also sends data to excel if you want it as a record outside of the phone which I appreciated. Adds for other renpho apps on a separate tab but not obtrusive or pop up.

Does work, but the tape is flimsy and I'm not sure how long it will last before the it breaks. It also keeps switching off when you're trying to do multiple measurements. As you can manually enter your measurements on the renpho app you're probably better off getting a normal loop tape measure that allows you to do this, and costs less than a quarter of the price. I bought it at Amazon warehouse price but, even then, I think it is too expensive.

Does exactly what it should with zero fuss. Functionality is straightforward and reliable, the display is crisp and readable at a glance, and the clean design looks great. Build quality feels solid yet it’s nice and lightweight. Most importantly, the readings are consistently accurate. Great bit of kit all round.

Works well and easy to use especially if you are doing the measurements yourself. Very accurate and the app is the biggest advantage as you don't need to jot down the figures. Plotting your progress is made even easier.

The tape measure came exactly as described and it works perfectly. I love that the tape measure snaps into the bottom and you can use one hand to tighten it up and get a precise measurement. It works with the same RENPHO app that the scale uses so you can track all of your data in one place, which is so nice if you are also using the RENPHO scale. The measurement also syncs right into the app so it makes measuring your whole body quick. You can track your trends and see how your body is changing from week to week. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking to lose weight and want another way of tracking your progress other than just a number on a scale.What I didn’t expect is just how useful this tape measure would be. I bought this because I started a weight loss journey using GLP-1s after years of struggling with my weight due to PCOS and insulin resistance. In the last 3 years, my weight has fluctuated within a range from 170 lbs to 230 lbs. It constantly goes up and down and because of that, I have no idea what size clothing I wear. I have clothes that range from way too big to way too small and I have no idea what size to even buy anymore. This tape measure has been so helpful in deciding what size I should buy. I use the measurements from the app and compare to the size guide for clothing and can finally get a size that actually fits on my body. It’s so useful because sizing varies between brands and I’m able to just open the app and compare my measurements whenever I’m shopping. For that reason, this little device can be useful to everyone whether you’re losing weight or just trying to find clothes that fit you well. I didn’t expect how useful this thing would turn out to be but I’m so glad I bought it.
