Best chips I have ever tasted
I saw these chips in a New York Times potato chip taste test. They were spot on in terms of crispness, salt level and lack of greasiness. I bought a case and had friends taste testing. One person thought they were too salty and everyone else loved them. I'm glad I can only buy them online thereby limiting how much I buy and consume.

So Good!
A little too crispy and had a lot of burnt edges. But can't beat the fact that they were tasty and REAL, Non-GMO, Organic Potatoes. What a treat to eat REAL FOOD!

Our favorite kettle chip
This brand is our favorite kettle chip, and it's great that there are several sizes from which to choose, so you can have one size for lunch and another size for parties. They're not too salty, just crisp & delicious.I've had perfect luck getting them on Amazon when fulfilled directly by the manufacturer. There was a problem one time when were fulfilled directly by Amazon (the Amazon supplied product appeared to be improperly warehoused by them in a hot environment as chip oil had soaked through bags and into the carton oily...of course food products are not returnable, so beware if this product is "on sale" by Amazon fulfillment...)

Excellent chip for the money!
I first tried these chips when our grandson brought some with him as a snack when we brought him to our house for a visit. His Mom is very particular about what he eats so I was surprised when I pulled these chips out of his bag. After checking the ingredients and reading some of the information on the bag I better understood. The potatoes are Non-GMO, the chips contain no Trans Fat or Cholesterol, are gluten-free and made in a nut-free facility. But let me tell you - these are fantastic kettle cooked potato chips. Everyone knows how expensive all chips have gotten but when I figured the cost for 24 of the 2 oz. bags versus a regular size bag of a popular chip brand, buying the Deep River chips was the way to go. My husband and I love the original sea salt and that's the only one we've tried, but I bet the other choices are great too. We'll be buying these again for sure!

WARNING: Ingredients changed, non-GMO verification missing
2025 UPDATE: They have had a class action lawsuit successfully filed against them. The claim submission time for consumers ($5 per product purchase) has now ended as of this update. That's what you get when you become a terrible company.---UPDATE: I attempted to contact the company about this, both directly via e-mail and on their twitter/facebook pages, and they didn't respond to me or anyone else inquiring into this issue. For a brand that tried to be consumer conscious, they now seem to not care one bit as they shift into GM ingredients.Simply put, never buy this company's products ever again.---As of the last month, these chips are now missing their non-GMO project verification badge, along with changing the ingredients list.No longer are they "Cooked exclusively in sunflower oil, never a blend!". It's now 'vegetable' oil, which includes either corn, cottonseed, sunflower or rapeseed (canola).I am allergic to corn, so I can now no longer consume these chips; not that I'd even want to as the oil(s) can come from GM produce. The shipment box to Amazon was #52 of 60, so there's at least a large lot of these new products out in the wild. It was also completely missing all branding; just a plain brown box with some label stickers on it.The quality of these chips was degrading over time, so I guess it's about time to find another brand.. which is really difficult as most are conventional garbage like this product now is.
