Mixes easily with water or soft food. My baby chihuahua who is 9 weeks and 2.5lbs enjoys this added to her food. I still give this to my growing puppy as an occasional treat, and she LOVES it! She will lick down an entire bowl of it in seconds! You get a good amount for the price as well!

If you're a breeder or caregiver of pets it's a good idea to keep this on hand. Works well as a supplement for feeding babies. Must taste good and have good nutrition for strength and endurance. Easy to use.

A lot of product for the money. If you are a breeder or have a litter of puppies it’s more than enough. My yorkie had 1 puppy her first litter. I was worried she wouldn’t be as attentive as she’s only 2yr old and still a puppy herself so got this as a back up. Although she did good ,as I’m weening the puppy I mix it in with his soft food so he has a taste he is used to. I also mixed it with mommas food to give her extra nutrients while feeding her baby. I was afraid I’d have to toss out a lot of unused as I’m not a breeder and don’t intent her to have more puppies anytime soon.. but read it’s a good idea to keep mixing it with puppies food for up to a yr to help growth and development: puppy seams to enjoy the taste and gobbles his food down better with it added.

This is best used to mix in with weaning puppy's food. It is less expensive than the liquid, but try as I might, I could not get the clumps out when I mixed it with water for nursing. Clogs up the nipple.

I was a bit nervous on previous reviews on lumps but I noticed when using boiled water if the water was too hot it would form lumps but if it cools to warm water it mixes well. The mom couldn't nurse so we had to take over after 5 days and all the pups are thriving and growing great and happy.
