Great for switching your headset
This is exactly what we were looking for to switch our GN headsets between the phone and the computer. Previously we used several quick release cables and Y adapters to hook into the sound card. This was cheaper, cleaner and easier. The device has a usb sound card built in so you don't have to mess with your existing sound card. It also has the quick release gn adapter for your headset and the standard phone headset jack to plug into the phone. My only wish was that the cable was a bit longer for hooking to the headset.

Connects my Jabra Biz 2300 to my Cisco 7841 and Dell laptop
Works perfectly to connect my Jabra biz 2300 to my Cisco 7841 IP phone and my Dell laptop. Being able to flip the switch to hop between desk phone and softphone calls is very convenient. The box includes all cables you need to connect everything.

Getting a GN 9120 wireless microphone working with Windows 8.1
I bought the Jabra LINK 180 to replace a GN 8110 USB link that no longer worked with Windows 8.1. Jabra Customer Support (866-697-8757) recommended this as an alternative to buying a new wireless microphone to replace the GN 9120 wireless microphone that served me for well over a decade. When the LINK 180 arrived, I unfortunately had problems with the GN 9120 headset when using Skype. In particular, as I connected to any Skype address, the headset's speaker made a loud buzzing noise that I could not shut off. With excellent help from Jabra's tech support we finally discovered that this could be fixed by uninstalling the Link 180 driver then plugging the Link 180 back in, which in turn updated the driver. (Installing the Jabra PC Suite did NOT help in making this driver correction.) So it IS possible to get a GN 9120 wireless headset working through a Link 180. However, if I had to do it again, I would put the money toward Jabra's new wireless mike (Jabra PRO 930 MS), which I have since purchased and have found to work beautifully.

IT Assistant
We moved to this model after we upgraded some of our systems to Win7 64bit. The GN4000 drivers did not work with Win 7 64bit. The Jabra Link 180 works great with the 64bit systems and installation is simple, just plug it in and let windows install the driver. The only things I don't like about it is the weight. The Jabra Link 180 is very light and is easily bumped around on the desk. Also, the manual switching between computer and phone can be extra work but nothing to complain too much about. This is a good product. We have about 5+ deployed now and looking to deploy more.

We are extremely happy with our devices & order additional sets as we ...
When my department invested in Cisco 7642 phones & installed Lync, we needed new compatible hardware & bought these along with the Jabra GN2125 Noise Cancelling Headset. We are extremely happy with our devices & order additional sets as we continue to grow.

Great for switching back and forth
Great for switching back and forth. Use GN2100 headset. Only little problem is I hear myself talking on the headset when on the computer but works just as great on the phone as before.

Solución perfecta a mi problema
