NCLEX RN 2020 and 2021 Study Guide: NCLEX RN Examination Prep and Practice Test Questions [Updated Edition for the New Outline]

I've found a few mistakes in this book, nothing too serious. It's not up to date information regarding the NCLEX Exam. There are currently (May 2021) 130 questions on the exam, the book states 265. Normal respirations are 12-20, the book states 16-20. The content is extremely basic. It brings up acronyms, but doesn't explain what it stands for till 2 pages later. This book could use an update and a makeover with the content. Important info should not be embedded in the middle of paragraphs. If I'm going to fail the NCLEX, this book isn't going to be what teaches me enough to get me to pass. I used this brand to study for the TEAS test and I thought it was good, but this book really falls short.

I am not studying for the NCLEX just yet, but I found this book very useful for my classes in nursing school. They don't give us a lot of questions to practice for exams. We have PrepU but those can take a while, so this is a good resource.

I enjoyed this guide, I really felt it hit key subject matter that I studied in nursing school and that I also saw on my first attempt at the NCLEX exam. This was great refresher information for me, and I realized there were a few things I didn't remember and the rationales I felt were very detailed.

This prep book is concise and easy to understand. There are two exams in the back with 100 questions each. The rationales provided discuss each answer option and why it was correct or incorrect. The rationales actually make sense and do not just say the typical "it's correct because it is the correct choice" like in other styles of NCLEX review questions. I used this book the month before I took my NCLEX and I passed.

I have used many study guide but the NCLEX-RN in 2000-2021 study guide test prep book is one of the best that I’ve ever used, it is well detailed And easy to understand.

I purchased this book because I wanted another resource that had tons of questions I could use to practice for NCLEX, and this book had just that!! There are hundreds of questions I can now use to practice which will come in handy!

I like this book,,it’s mostly straight to the point like per topic..I like the way the chapter was like the NCLEX preparation..

-I love the practice questions with explanations.-I wish there were more pictures and some color but it's still a nice simplified study guide.

The book was delivered in great quality I just find the content to not be very useful. Very basic. Doesn’t go in-depth. I read the entire thing and feel like I didn’t learn anything new or was reminded of anything important. Can’t really study from it.There are questions in the back that were the most helpful part. Very American based
