It is big and heavy enough to stay upright going near full speed on rough terrain - makes for more excitement than its lower weight cousins. The controls have a good feel and the car’s response is excellent. I like the fogger. It’s visible with the purple lighting even during daylight. The fogger is a unique, cool feature when driving the car at dusk or full moon. The fogger will run full throttle on one water fill-up (30 minutes or 3 batteries). A perfect, rugged car for a beginner. Update Aug 20, 2020: DEERC customer support is outstanding. I want to purchase a 3rd battery and they responded immediately by phone and email to notify me when its available. I did not waste a lot of time on Google search.

The remote is extremely cheap and broke within the first day of using. We got a replacement sent out and the wheel axle broke within the first day of using. Very cheap plastic product. Also, without proportional steering or throttle control, it's very hard to control and flips over easily, and with its low durability I could imagine that this won't last anybody very long. I honestly don't understand all the positive reviews.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I was really blown away when I received this DeerC remote control car. First of all it came with TWO long run rechargeable lithium batteries. I easily gave the car a work out for 30+ minutes on a charge and it was great to have another battery to use while the other was put on the charger. I have never seen an RC car that produced this cool looking fog exhaust by simply adding a dropper full of water to the reservoir. The various light effects were really awesome too. It makes you want to run it outdoors at night and in the house with the lights off. I did need lots of room outdoors to run the car full speed. I had one other video I wanted to post as my little Yorkie really had some fun and got a great workout chasing this car around but alas Amazon only lets you upload one video in a review.

This is a great toy for a kid who wants a first RC car. On the sidewalk it can go fairly quick but it does get slowed down while it is on the grass. The lights on the car do look cool especially while driving in the evening or at dusk. This also applies to the water/fog trail it has. While the car is driving, the fog isn't really apparent but once it stops, it has a fun factor to it.Batteries are true to time at about 20 minutes while in the street or along the sidewalk but once the car needs extra power in the grass, that time drops. My grass is also between 3-4 inches high so a shorter lawn might not have as much of an issue.Driving with this car is simple. The joysticks are still but very positive when you move them. It would be nice is the remote wasn't an all or nothing throttle/steering but for this price, I can't complain. When turning, there is a sharp turn to it which does take a little getting used to and can make it slightly difficult to keep a straight line but this car isn't meant to casually stroll down the sidewalk.There isn't a huge learning curve to the controls as almost right away, my 5 year old was able to pick up the control and start driving. This is also her first remote control anything so I was impressed. If the joysticks weren't as stiff, she might have been able to drive it better but I am also used to flying drones where the controls are super smooth so I am bias in that regard.My only true gripe with this car is the battery compartment. The connection is simple enough to plug it in and take it off but I personally can't stand having to unscrew the battery compartment every time I need to change and charge the batteries. It is nice that there is a little screwdriver that comes with the car but it is small and can easily be lost. I there was a way to get the battery under the body where it could be help in place with a small twist lock, I think that would be better.All in all for the price, this is a great little car. My kids are really happy they have it and I am really happy it can stand up to the abuse. This thing has rolled several times on a tight turn and has minimal scuff marks on the front fenders. I highly recommend this car for any family who wants to get the kids outside to play.

This is a fun little car to drive. It is faster than I had expected. This is not a hobby grade, but for the price it is fun and it is good. I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. We drive my Axial SMT10 together, but he cannot drive it by himself. He also struggles to use throttle and steering om a traditional rc car. That is why I bought this car, because the throttle and steering are using a stick rather than a steering wheel. He grasped the concept instantly. So he can drive this car by himself. Now this car is only go and stop and turn or straight. In other words, there is no throttle or steering control. You cannot turn a little bit. You turn all the way or you don't. You cannot accelerate a little bit. You either go or you don't. I am saying this so you know what to expect. Quite honestly, I think that for this price point, it is worth it. You cannot compare it to a $300 or $400 car from a hobby store. But you can't buy a car at the hobby store for the price of this one. I am not bashing the hobby stores, because I love those cars. I am just saying that they should not be compared.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Good rc vehicle. Nice size not too small not too big. Controls are basic but very functional. Suspension id durable and can take a good workout. Battery length is good and it comes with two. All tools and charging cable were included. All round good product for the money.

Neat little car, but the gears are now broken and it is undrivable. Others have asked for repair parts and the answer is not encouraging. Wish we had bought a better one - for $50.00 we would have assumed it to be a bit more sturdy and would have lasted more than a week.

Santa brought this car and it is a fantastic rc car!! Exceeded our expectations. My daughter took it for a walk around several blocks, rolled it a couple of times, and then played with it in the driveway...and it still didn't give up. Good controls. Be aware it may not be super for small indoor rooms, it's pretty speedy. We use it primarily for outside. Love the mist exhaust and lights. To compare, our other rc -a different type- only lasted for a few minutes and it's tires shredded a bit...THIS car's battery life goes much longer and is holding up brilliantly so far. It is the best we've had yet! Definitely recommend! 👍👍

Bonjour. Déballé le 25 au matin. Deux jours plus tard, la direction est cassée ! J'ai écrit au vendeur et j'ai reçu une 2e voiture le 5 janvier. Il y a un décallage entre la commande et la réaction de la voiture (problème résolu en utilisant la manette de la 1e voiture avec la 2e voiture.) Bref, je donne 3 étoiles par respect au vendeur qui à bien voulu remplacer la première voiture. Par contre, pour la voiture elle-même, je crains que c'est un zéro étoile !

Cheaply built, it broke after 14 days (doesn't steer anymore), and we don't have the box anymore, so now we're stuck with a broken car and we need to buy another Christmas gift for our daughter. Thank you planned obsolescence.And it didn't fall down stairs or anything like that. My daughter never breaks stuff.

When I received this remote control car, it was missing the remote control. The company that makes this item was listed so I contacted them by email and related the problem and how disappointed my grandson was to receive the car without the remote. They acted immediately and within one day I got a new one delivered to me. My grandson has now had many hours of enjoyment playing with his new remote car.I was so grateful that the makers responded so swiftly and so understandingly.I would list the company but it is no longer listed because the car has been sold out.

Starts getting stuck while reversing within a week so had to return it. Not worth the money I paid.
