another great value.
Good quality and packaging. I was surprised how nice they were for so cheap.

No chrome flaking issues with my set, so I ordered a 2nd pair
I got the chrome 15.75" set on 9/2020, as I wanted the longer handles to be able to load more weight than my standard length (14") handles could accommodate.I've been using these 3x a week for 9 months and haven't experienced the flaking chrome issues other folks have mentioned. The one caveat is that I bought the 15.75" chrome handled version to be able to load more weight on them, but I realized the handles are a narrower diameter than my Rogue barbell or the handles on my regular 14" dumbbells. The thinner handles result in increased discomfort from the greater pressure over a smaller surface when these are loaded to over 100lbs each.I just purchased the 15.75" rubber handled versions to compare. The rubber is molded over the regular chrome handles, so the diameter of the grips IS larger, which is exactly what I wanted.I'll update my review after using the rubber grip versions for several months, to note if there is any apparent change in quality (eg. If the new ones exhibit the flaking issue).***I've now been using the rubber grip 15.75" handles for over a year, and they've been great.I use them 3x a week, every single week, loading and unloading them multiple times per exercise. No issues with the chrome flaking. For most exercises, I have them loaded with between 60 to 110lbs of plates, and have loaded them up with 150lbs of plates (3 x 25lb plates on each end. 6 on each dumbbell) and they've held up great! As mentioned, I bought the chrome handled version first, but no longer use them because the handles are skinnier than the handles of my standard barbells and dumbbells. The rubber gripped version has the rubber overmolded over the regular handles and the grip IS thicker than the chrome version, making them significantly more comfortable for the higher weight ranges.I haven't tried the longer versions, but I can definitely recommend the rubber gripped 15.75" version.

Well built, great handle
I had planned on getting powerblocks(and I probably still will) but these are a great supplement for higher weights ast the 50 pound limit of my core fitness adjustable weights which are great but very delicate. These seems rugged and can go up to 150 pounds each but I only will be going up to 80 or so which they handle great. I recommend these or powerblocks to my son

Old school weights, best poundage to cost
For a budget home gym, you can't go wrong with adjustable dumbbell handles. I've gone up to ~124 pounds (~4 lbs handle + collars, six 10 lb plates each side) for one-arm dumbbell rows - you might be able to fit another pair of 2.5 lb plates, to give an idea of maximum capacity. No rattle, unless you drop them and the spin-lock collars loosen. Sure, you have to get creative balancing them on your lap, since they aren't flat ended like fixed commercial grade dumbbells (e.g. Iron Grip) or fancy adjustable dumbbells (e.g., Bowflex SelectTech, PowerBlock). But pound for pound, these are a *lot* cheaper (including the cost of plates) and basically indestructible. Also, since they're basically like pro-style dumbbells without the custom length handles and fancy endcaps, they're the most compact and "traditional" form factor, pound for pound. Adjustable designs like Bowflex are much bulkier, have parts which can wear out, usually top out around 90 lbs. (although PowerBlock makes a series that goes much heavier).I got these, and the longer handles, when the gyms closed. But before I did, I was using a set of spin-lock dumbbells I found in my parents' garage - which were about 25 years old, a bit rusty but otherwise fully functional! Old school, gets the job done. One thing, though: the rubber washers on the handles will get chewed up within a few months - too thin and soft, will get squished (extruded) into the small gap between the threaded shaft and the holes of the first plates. I recommend replacing these with thicker, wider, and firmer ones, like these, which work perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PMP45HP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_bRU3FbNDP5RP5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Easy, low cost way to add weight as strength improves, which is the point...
I don't want to spend the money on full rack of weights, nor do I have the room. This allows me to add weights for specific exercises or as strength improves. Seems to be good quality. Just need to add in a metal washer, as the plastic ones can get bent easily.

Solid Handles
High quality handles that have out performed any I've had before. The sturdy manufacturing should mean these will last me a very long time.

Would be five star but they have small grips.
You can tell that the dumbells are made of very high-quality material and are well made and well put together but the handles are very small and that makes them difficult to hold on to and keep stable.

Sturdy
There were a lot of bad reviews. Maybe they got a bad batch? Mine work fine. I have had 125 pounds on each and no bending. The collars stay firmly in place too. Worth the money.

Exactly as advertised!!
I ordered two pairs, and they arrived one week earlier than the order delivery date. Well packaged, and exactly as advertised. I loaded one of them with 260 lbs worth of weight plates (4 x 25 lbs + 3 x 10 lbs on each side) for a total of 266 lbs with the handle and collars -- that is about 120.66 kgs.A whale of a dumbbell! But now I will try and load it with 300 lbs worth of weight plates (6 x 25 lbs on each side) as soon as I get more 25 lbs weight plates. I prefer the 25 lbs weight plates because of their diameter, the 35 lbs weight plates are too large for any exercise, especially for the single-arm dumbbell bent-over row.At 306 lbs / 138.8 kgs this will be the blue whale of dumbbells!! Yes, these dumbbell handles rock, and I gave these guys 5 stars because of their impecable timing and their excellent product.
