Very effective
This was such a lovely surprise, really effective for homemade undecorated cakes or like mine a shop bought cake covered in plain chocolate icing, it brought my cake alive and made it look really professional, great value for money and I wouldn’t want to spend more, the price was right, good quality product that you have to assemble yourself but was very very easy to do.

Don’t expect too much!
This set consisted of 10 stars and a happy birthday motto on fairly flimsy silver glitter card (glitter only on the front, the back is white) with white sticks and fiddly glue dots for self assembly. Unfortunately we seemed to be 1 stick missing and had a star left over at the end but it didn’t really matter. The confetti balloon was a pretty rubbish. Once blown up the confetti just lay flat on the bottom of the balloon, not stuck around the inside as in the promo pic and wouldn’t secure in the holder which was an ill fitting plastic bow type thing on top of the stick, with 2 halves of the bow that pressed together. Pretty disappointed we couldn’t use the balloon in the final cake and had I known this would have purchased a different set. Personally I didn’t mind having to glue to decorations to the sticks myself but I know this will put some people off and the glue dots are quite fiddly.

Brilliant cake topper!
Decorated my sister's recent Birthday cake with this decoration. I sprayed the white icing with gold spray then added this gold decoration with balloon. It looked so impressive. She was blown away!
