These sheets are ridiculously thick (and that is a great thing). Now I know that thread count has not to do with thickness of sheets, thread count is one axis and thickness is on another. However, I would be remiss if I did not comment on the first thing that stands out about these sheets, and that is they are crazy thick and seem really durable. The second thing I noticed about the sheets is a very beautiful dye job (at first it ran when I hand washed them, but the water cleared pretty quickly, so I imagine one more wash will do it.) The dye job is very nice and vivid.Now I know people are like: "What about the threadcount and softness??" I am getting to that... I do not have a lot of experience with fancy sheets of a high caliber thread count but I can tell you this is no Walmart or BBB sheets, the threading is so tightly packed its hard to see a single strand, I imagine this is because of the 1000 thread count, the finish feels almost plastic smooth because its so tight? I think someone said that is characteristic of a sateen weave, well anyway I compared to sheets in my house and these are definitely high quality, the softness factor is hard for me to judge but they feel really soft to me, a bit of the crispness remained after first wash but I did a gentle hand wash and it will probably take a bit to break them in. All-in-all this was the best price, and the only sheet set on amazon I could find that seemed legitimately 1000 TC, and as luck would have it, these sheets are nice and thicck... that was a complaint of buyers on all the other listing of other sellers on amazon I saw, so I feel I lucked out. I would give these sheets an extra star if I could!

I loved the fit and how soft the sheets are. Well worth the money, very fair price.

I ordered this sheet set twice (the second one was a replacement since first time it was missing the fitted sheet), and the quality of the sheets was SO MUCH better the second time. The second set was everything I could desire, very soft, smooth, substantial, nice extra deep pockets, great color. I honestly don't care about wrinkling, and I detest the treatment they give cotton sheets to make them no-wrinkle. While it is not no-wrinkle, it also does not wrinkle excessively, just what you would expect for a long staple cotton, I guess. The first set I received was really kind of scratchy and not the same quality. The packaging was also different, not to mention that the first time there was a missing item. I am extremely happy with the sheets I received the second time, but I have to knock down a star because of the lack of consistency. Apparently, your results will vary.

I haven’t had sheets this good before.. They are well made and fit perfectly they aren’t wrinkle free however they wash up beautifully. I was happy they are made in India not China because I stopped buying items from China. Unfortunately Amazon now charges for shipping..

These sheets were soft at first however they began to pile after 2 months and now can no longer be slept on. It feels like sand paper, these are super gritty feeling. There is no way these are Egyptian cotton!

I have bought 800 count threaded sheets from reputable USA made companies, and those are much thicker than these. The thread they use is very thin, so their 1000 count might be true, but the thread is half as thick as true thread. So I would rate these as 500 count thread since the thread is half a thick as the normal thread used in sheets. Misleading and disappointed.

Pockets are deep. And that’s what I was looking for! Would have been better if there were 4 pillowcases though.
