Fingers crossed that doesn't happen.I won't be rock climbing, but instead will be entering a roof where the ceiling may OR may not be compromised. I'm mostly worried about falling drywall and maybe some nails, but if I was worried about something more substantial, I wouldn't be risking it by using a helmet not rated for that.I have a large head. Most hats and helmets are uncomfortable for me and it's been hard to find a perfect fit. I ordered the largest possible helmet and I was pleasantly surprised that it not only fit, but it was super comfortable. I felt more secure than I'd ever felt in a helmet of any kind.I handed it over to a household member with a smaller head and it was met with mixed reviews. It did adjust to fit, but they weren't as comfortable. Maybe they needed a smaller size. I don't know how to respond to that.Bottom line: Would I order again? Yes, for my purposes, this seems perfect. Would I gift? Never having had a rock-climbing helmet, I don't know if the features are standard. I wouldn't know if this was a good helmet to gift for that purpose.
