I hope this has not been discontinued! I love this product, it is the perfect thing to put in your hair and it holds, and makes your hair so soft. It has been unavailable for so long I’m afraid it is not coming back. I have not found anything similar to replace it.

this pomade is the best one for some reason amazon stopped having it but they sell it at Walmart website so I kept buying it there but I first bought it here

I have bought A TON of hair balms, leave in conditioners, gels, wave cream, etc. This is one of the better high quality products, especially considering the price. This is very moisturizing, lightweight and smells great. I gave it only 4 stars as you will not achieve a superior hold. You’ll have to purchase a pomade for that. But this is good to use sparingly to first feed your scalp, rub it in. Then apply a small amount of pomade to the top portion of your hair. Throw a durag on and you’re in business! My hair is short, with a 1 or 1.5 cut on top, with 4a or 4b grade hair.

Love it. Give my hair the right moisture without feeling greasy and my daughter's always talk about how good my hair smells. You know kids don't lie.

I feel like I have tried all sorts of gels, mouses, creams, etc..and finally found the one I will stick with. I have type 2B curls & this is what I have found works for me: Shampoo/condition my hair; Spritz with Hairitage Color Check Leave-In Conditioner; Apply a generous amount of Not Your Mother's Curl Talk Curl Activating Mousse; Wrap hair in a microfiber towel while I finish drying off; Diffuse dry hair. The NEXT day, I slightly wet my hair & add a small amount of this hair balm, scrunch & diffuse dry again. My hair looks amazing & it holds very well. The scent is light & can easily be used by males & females. I definitely recommend this product!

I’m not one to write reviews (unless it’s a very good, distinguishable product). Here’s the lay of the land: I’m a white male with thick, long-ish, and dry hair. I’ve tried 15+ products but none of them gave me the light, flexible, moisturizing texture needed to style my hair without making it too thick and gunky. This product is a godsend and is exactly what I’ve been looking for. If you sound anything like me, pull the trigger on this. You won’t regret it. I will surely be a lifetime customer and say goodbye to all other hair products. Well done, Scotch Porter, well done.

I have curly hair that gets pretty unwieldy once it gets any length to it at all. It will get fluffy and frizzy, especially because I live in a place where it goes from humid to dry overnight. This is better than pomade because it isn’t sticky and it doesn’t need a lot to work. It helps me to control my hair just enough to tame it. If you want to style your hair this may not be for you because it doesn’t hold a lot, but if you want to tame down your natural look or coax it a bit this is it.
