Aura Cacia Roman Chamomile in Jojoba Oil, 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade, 15ml

This is a great, strongly scented chamomile oil that, yes, is pre-diluted in jojoba. If you’re not okay with that, go spend $45 on a few ml of pure. That’s great too. But this blended oil makes chamomile much more accessible to those not willing to dish out that much on a few ml of oil.

I learned that Roman chamomile is great for treating eczema, so I bought some to add into my homemade concoction. Roman chamomile has many other uses as well. I love essential oils because they are a natural and effective means of treating and preventing may ailments. There are actually two varieties of chamomile: German chamomile and Roman chamomile (also known as English chamomile). Today, Roman chamomile oil is known for its ability to soothe skin problems and is often added to body care products. It is also beneficial in relieving muscle discomfort after exercise, making it a beneficial addition to massage oils. Other uses of Roman chamomile oil include: • Relief for migraines, headaches, and nervous complaints when used in vapor therapy. Simply mix with a carrier oil and put in a burner or diffuser. • Alleviating allergies, colic, insomnia, addiction, and muscle painwhen blended in a massage oil or diluted in your bathwater. • Soothing diaper rash, burns, and sunburn when added to creams and lotions. • Helping treat dental abscesses and tonsillitis when mixed in water and gargled as a mouthwash. Roman chamomile oil is widely celebrated for its anti-inflammatory properties. It also has anti-spasmodic, anti-septic, antidepressant, antibiotic, carminative, analgesic, tonic, bactericidal, and anti-infectious effect. These beneficial properties make it efficient in relieving or treating conditions, such as:3,4 • Allergies. Diffuse a diluted mix through your home before the start of (and even throughout) allergy season. You can also apply it on the bottom of your feet or inhale it directly when allergies flare up. • Skin irritations. It can help calm or treat acne, rashes, eczema, wounds, dermatitis, and dry and itchy skin. • Infections caused by bacteria and fungi. When digested, it can kill all sorts of intestinal worms. However, I advise consulting a healthcare practitioner before ingesting this (or any type of) essential oil. You can also apply it to your hair to kill mites and lice, keeping your hair and scalp free from infections. • Muscle spasms, crams, and tension. Just massage onto the affected area with a mild carrier oil, like coconut oil. • Arthritis and rheumatism. It can relieve circulatory system disorders by stimulating your circulation and helping remove toxins like uric acid from the blood. • Insomnia. Inhale or diffuse it before bedtime to help you get a good night’s sleep. Roman chamomile oil is also said to work well for relieving abdominal pain, throat infections, and gallbladder problems. I have recently developed a taste for fragrances.After extensive reading, I now make my own hand wash, body soap, lotions, creams and perfumes. The Chamomile oil is a very good additive for most of these items because it has a very mild fragrance which lasts longer and it does not make you nauseous. Another very good (and I think much more important !!) role for this oil is as a stress reliever. I had heard a lot about it being a stress reliever. But now I can vouch for it after trying it a few times. When you feel tired and feel like you dont have energy left in you, apply a drop of this oil on forehead and you will feel fresh and energetic within 30 mins. Its a tried and tested application of this oil. GLAD I BOUGHT THIS !!!

Yes this is a blend, but mixed with a protocol of other oils it solves hot flashes and night sweats. I have not had either since I was have rubbed the combination of oils on the bottom of my feet. Before bed and after my morning shower. Miracle worker.

Love this oil! It's perfect for application to my feet and does not need to be mixed with a carrier oil. It comes premixed with jojoba oil.

I was stung by a wasp and knew camomile helped. I purchased this and it helped bring down the swelling and calm the itch. I have since used it for a heat rash. Calmed and helped clear. It doesn't smell the nicest but it does the job with very little so I can overlook the smell and it fades quickly.

I was looking for a Roman Chamomile oil blended with a carrier already to cut on the cost of making some homemade face oil to try, so this was perfect! I blended it with half rose hip oil and it has been amazing for my face. Moisturizing but not heavy feeling. Some people don't seem to like the smell of it but I LOVE the scent! Will buy again.

My 2 year old has never been one to sleep in his crib or bed, he always needs Mama nearby. I’ve tried lavender oils for relaxation and bedtime with no success. Decided to give Roman Chamomile a try and I am glad I did. This oil is amazing and this is one of my favorite brands. I put a few drops in the tub, and a little on his feet and a drop on his neck and within the hour he winds down and is peacefully sleeping in his bed. From one sleepless Mama to the next, buy this oil you won’t be sorry.

It smells okay but I mix it with my other oils and love it

I wish I had paid closer attention to the fine print. This is not pure, but blended with jojoba. Perhaps a title change is in order here? Smells nice though, and this brand is otherwise a very good one, so I'll live with it.

Description in writing says 15 ml of Chamomile Roman. This is not accurate. It is blended with an unknown amount of jojoba oil. If you want 100% pure Chamomile Roman, do not buy this product.

The description should indicate that the essential oil is blended with jojoba oil.
