Good formula & rated high on Consumer Labs. Note: they are 250 mg because body can only absorb 500 mg at a time & excess calcium is not good (look up calcium supps on Mayo Clinic site). So space them apart & check how much calcium you already getting from food.

This product is pretty well-reviewed by several health publications and is one of the more bio-available forms of calcium on the market. It’s also supposed to be gentler on the stomach than calcium carbonate. The one major drawback to this product to me is the size. Each capsule is very large (the largest out of my vitamin routine by far) & the 1000mg dose requires you to take FOUR of the giant capsules. I guess if you really wanted to you could probably empty the capsules out into a smoothie or something but it’s a lot to swallow.

My calcium levels are now normal

I have osteopenia and had a hard time stomaching other calcium supplements. I also take vitamin D in another supplement. After doing my research, I purchased this. It is gentle on my stomach and doesn't cause constipation. I take two in the morning and two at night. Problem solved. I hope this impacts my bone scan but can't be sure yet.

Just started taking so cannot speak to effects yet. But I did notice a number of capsules broken in the bottle and a lot of powder substance. Looks like a manufacturing issue. Not sure if i would get this brand again
