GM Genuine Parts 15-81683 (22741027) Heating and Air Conditioning Blower Motor

Direct OEM replacement on my 2007.5 NBS Silverado. Easy install, zero complaints. This is the no bolt blower with tabs. The new blower has high air flow and is whisper quiet, a combination I have never found from a big box parts store. Worth every penny. I’ll come back if it dies on me.

I order this ACDELCO fan motor 15-81683 for a 2010 Chevy Tahoe LS and it work perfectly. The original fan had yellow fan blades and this one were white. Either way if worked just fine. DIAGNOSIS: Front ac fan control did not turn the fan on, so I replaced a fan control relay $37 LEFT of the fan mortor and WASN’T the problem. The problem was the actual motor. PLEASE check this two parts to ensure you buy the right broken part. Also, motor came well packed. The new motor blades has a few clips on the blades, DONT take them off, I think it’s just for balancing the fan.

Blower was NOT a direct DELCO OEM as they said it was but made out of Korea with a different manufacturers name on it then was on the box. ANYWAY it fit fine. It worked fine. Until it didn't. I installed it 5 months ago and a few weeks ago it stopped. Driving along - just stopped. Pulled the fan - (not easy) - tested it - and YEP the blower is shot. NO problem - its under warranty. Called Amazon - told me to call Delco - who told me that I should contact the manufacturer in South Korea. I called Amazon back and told them what Delco had said and that NO i was not going to call South Korea. They told me to call Delco back. This time I asked for a supervisor. Delco said to contact them through their website with The complaint. I did. Their response was that I needed to contact Amazon. I told them I did. NEVER heard anything from them again. I simply don't have time for this crap any more. With the fan being made by a dubious manufacturer in South Korea for Bosche who rebrands it to DELCO and then sells it to Amazon - no one takes responsibility and I am stuck with a 90.00 warranted paperweight. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

This was a perfect fit for my vehicle. It went in easily, and pumps out the air flow desired. However, a few months after installation, it has now began making a loud noise as if it is rubbing against something or intake is inhibited. (Like a vacuum hose when it is covered completely) I removed the cover and checked for obstructions and found none, no signs of rubbing against anything. It still runs great, just sounds really loud to the point I have to turn the fan way down to hear conversation or to place an order at drive through.

This blower may not have “AC Delco” written all over it, but it is the identical blower/exact same manufacturer and part number of the blower that came in my 2013 GMC Sierra (I bought the truck new). SOME PEOPLE LEAVING NEGATIVE REVIEWS DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THE BLOWER THAT CAME FACTORY IN THE TRUCK IS MADE IN KOREA, NOT USA. Ignorance is rampant in reviews for this part. My Journey: At first I went to a local parts store and got a “Murray” brand replacement fan that blew air about 60% as strong as the stock blower did. I knew something was wrong so I put my DC clamp ammeter on the circuit and the parts store replacement was pulling 9 amps whereas the stock blower pulled 14-15 amps. Autozone and Oreillys sell GARBAGE. This Amazon-replacement OEM fan pulls 14-15 amps just like the stock blower, which makes sense seeing how it is the same manufacturer and part number of the OEM blower. It even looks identical. AC now blows HARD again, thank you Amazon. This is the blower you are looking for, my friends.

Old blower motor went out for my 2014 yukon xl and this was an exact fit. Well packaged and works great so far.

I purchased an after market one first, but was very noisy with a high pitch sound at high speeds. Took it back on warranty thought may be a bad one. But the other one was worst. Search here on Amazon and found this one for roughly the same cost. This one is much quieter, just like the original. So for so good.!!

Good quality. Does not fit a GMC3500HD 2011 And it said it would. On the plus side the Return policy was quick.
