It’s hard to find cool snake hides without holes they can get stuck in, I was excited to receive this cause it seemed perfect for my female ball python. The measurements seemed good. However when it arrived I realized a good bit of the size is taken bc it’s SUPER thick. Great for being sturdy but takes away from the size in the inside, great for smaller/younger snakes and no sharp edges to file down but definitely wouldn’t even fit the top 1/3 of my 1&1/2 year old bp. I still put it in her enclosure just because, but she won’t even look at it. Afterwards I realized there is a bigger size option, a little different style which would be fine but has holes she could still get stuck in and I’d have to seal off. Good quality item if you have something that will actually fit inside it.

Very strong and well built. Heavy, does not float or move in tank.

This ended up being a little bigger than I thought it was going to be. That’s on me for not paying attention to the dimensions. Ended up working out ok.

Just what I needed for my leopard gecko good condition and a great size for an adult leo

All the reviews say that it's too small or smaller than expected, so here's a pic with my big fat Size Large hand for size reference. It's perfect for me and my corn snake, nice and heavy, and good smooth edges. The cast has air bubbles all over - not bad enough to hurt the appearance, in fact I think they make it look more natural, but it'll be harder to clean because of it. Paint job is nice, very natural. Don't know what the hole on the back is for but I think I'll jam a plant in there. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

I bought this to use as a moist hide for my leopard gecko. She loves it and sleeps in it every night. It holds in the humidity really well and it's heavy enough so it doesn't wiggle or move unlike some decor items I have gotten that move way too easily. I plan on getting another one for my baby leo once they're old enough (too small at the moment).

It was a bit larger than the description says, I got it to fit a 9" space and it was over it by at least an inch. Overall nice hide, good detailings, edges are a bit sharp but sand them down and it feels fine. I will still be using in a larger space.

I bought this for my 10 gallon tarantula enclosure and it is perfect! It arrived promptly, dimensions were as advertised and the quality is good. It has some heft to it, too, which makes it feel nice and stable. Unlike other products I have purchased for my animals, it required only minimal sanding of potentially sharp edges (and, really, I only sanded this one in an abundance of caution). For my tarantula, who is 4", it is the perfect little home - providing a cozy dark cave, easy climbing and a nice platform from which to survey her kingdom.
