Ultra Premium Car Duster - Better Than The California Duster - Long Extendable Handle - No Wax Streaks Left Behind

I was truly amazed at the QUALITY of this product! It is like holding a tennis racket! I love the heavy duty bag it comes in. I was able to hang it on a hook in my garage. The duster itself has such a full head. I can not tell you how impressed I am. I never expected this item to be even better in person than the photo! Usually the photo looks better than the actual product you get. My favorite use for this is the interior of my car. I have a very active dog with small hairs that seem to be all over the back of my car at times. One swipe with the duster, it picked up everything! Even in the small areas on the door. It grabbed all the dust in the small areas around my gear shift, radio and dash. I love it so much for the interior! It also worked amazing on the outside of my car. It all only took ONE swipe!This is a MUST HAVE especially if you are OCD like me! It was easy to clean. Such quality! Not too heavy, just perfect! And the padded handle made it easy to hold around corners. I am going to order another one for my house for the ceiling fans and blinds. This is a MUST HAVE! It is AMAZING! I'm telling all my friends to get this! I have never been more happy with a product!

Wow! This is a great product, well made, durable, easy to clean and comes in a handy case for easy storage. But, lets talk about how well it works. I'm a fanatic about keeping my motorcycle clean, and this duster is a perfect match for that. It grabs every speck of dust on every hard to reach part of the bike. And naturally since it worked so well on the bike, I had to try it on the car and in the house. This duster is amazing! The telescoping handle made it a breeze to dust the roof of the car, and the ceiling fans in the house. No worries about scratching anything, the microfiber is super soft. I am a bit of a clean freak, and I would recommend this product to everyone who wants an easy, efficient way to clean.

Black car + dust = dirty. However, this car duster worked really well and transformed my extremely dusty car to a showroom quality one. I've always known the California Duster to be the staple car duster in dusty California, but mine has been leaving tons of red fiber residue on my car. After using this one, my car is spotless every time. I hate dust on my BMW X3 as it makes the Carbon Black Metallic paint look dull. After about 2 minutes, or 10 if I'm being meticulous, the dust is completely wiped off. Although, it does tend to leave some dust after each wipe. I just use a microfiber cloth to wipe up the rest. If you turn the duster as you reach the end of any car surface, it does pick up the dust well, but not 100%. However, I'm still happy with it as it leaves no scratches on my car. I'd also say to be careful when dusting around any car exterior labeling trim (like the "X3" label on the trunk) as the duster can easily get caught on it and ruin it. Overall, it's a great car duster.

I bought it for my new black car I purchased to give it a quick shine between washes. It works great, and is very soft, no worries of scratching the paint. I also use it on the interior of the car. It can get into all the tight spaces and into the vents and gauges as well. It can hold lots of dust. It works so well I use it in my house now, to clean ceiling fans, computer, and tables. The extendable handle is great for Reaching the middle of roof of the car as well as ceiling fans. Washing it is very easy. Just a little dish soap and warm water. work it into the fibers and watch all the dirt and dust run down the drain. Rinse with warm water to get the soap out, ring it out and let it air dry. The only draw back I can see is that it took 48 hours to dry, but I guess that's because it is so absorbent. I really recommend it because it is built strong and works as well as it did the first time I used it.

The only redeeming thing about this product was that it is extendable. As a vehicle duster it is terrible. It leaves pockets of dust behind that accumulate as you swipe across the metal surface so that you have to try to shake or jar the dust out of the duster and go over the area several times and still not get all of the dust pockets off of the surface. Another frustrating thing about this product is that the wound threads that suspend from the core, catch on any metal edge as you swipe across the surface. Now the tip pulled loose and the duster is beginning to unravel rendering it useless. I am so frustrated and disappointed in this product. I have an original “California Duster” that I have used for over twenty years and it still does an admirable job, is a pleasure to use and makes quick work of removing the dust from my truck. I like to conserve on my use of water and the California Duster is a tool that Is a huge benefit to the environment in cutting back on water consumption.

Well, my California Car Duster finally got to the point where it was leaving marks on my car rather than cleaning the dust off of it. It worked great for years, so I can't complain. I could have gotten another one and been satisfied, but I wanted to see what else was out there. After reading reviews for several similar products, I'm glad I went with the Prestige Premium Car Duster. I've been a user of the California Car Duster for several years, but mine finally reached a point where it needed to be replaced. I was curious about what other options were out there, so I ended up going with this one after reading many reviews. I actually prefer the Prestige over the CA duster for a few reasons: It's lighter, which allows me to finish the job faster, it doesn't leave any streaks, the telescoping handle works great for the hood and roof, and the 360 degree coverage makes it so I don't have to worry about holding it in the right position, also decreasing the time it takes to wipe down the car. I haven't used it much yet, so I can't comment on how it will perform after many uses or if it will "push dust around" as some reviewers have stated. However, I'd imagine that if that starts happening, it's simply time to wash it (another advantage over the CA duster because I've heard the performance can be greatly degraded after washing those). I'll update my review if anything changes.

I rarely give a review, but I had lots of hope for this product. I've had the Cal Car Duster streaks and thought this was the solution. It actually worked. Car was covered in pollen and this duster got rid of it. It pulled it into the duster. But then I dusted by a "badge" on the car (the raised letters on most every car) and the duster snagged and pulled apart. I brought it inside, washed it (and it was full of pollen) but the duster had pulled apart at the snagged area, leaving a large part of the metal handle exposed. There's no way I'll take a chance scratching my car up with it. So I'll chalk it up to a $30 lesson and stick with what has worked (not perfectly, but could be counted on). I wanted this to be the answer. Sadly, it isn't.

It is a good duster, but NOT excellent for $35 and for $35 a car duster should be great, not just good like this one. I have both, this duster and the California Duster. Both work good. I do NOT think it is any better than the California Duster and being that I can get 2 California dusters for the price of 1 of these I rate the California dusters as EXCELLENT. In all fairness, this is ONLY MY opinion. Many others are happy with it and might not have the same thoughts that I have, however, I wanted to point out the pros and cons because this duster is quite expensive for many people. Pros and cons of both. Pros: lightweight long handle 360 deg of duster use can be washed Cons: The material is sort of staticy and stringy which is good for catching dust and such, but the dust and pollen and little leaves and such do not shake out so it needs to be washed or cleaned often and little particles need to be picked out. (time consuming). And if you don't pick out the particles then it will scratch your paint. The threads catch on the car and pull out into long strings which then need to be cut Expensive!!! $35??? Really?? I bought one but I also wanted it to be perfect for $35! And it is NOT. California Duster Pros: Threads are heavier and helps rid of dust easier Dust and pollen can be shaken out easily Cotton thread with wax helps to remove dust easy and prevent scratching. I have NEVER had it scratched a car of mine Can be washed with mild soap Threads do not pull out easily Cheaper as I can get two of these for 1 of the Prestige Cons: Shorter handle heavier threads are not 360deg around handle I would have rated the Prestige duster a 5 star if it was $20 or cheaper. The duster is NOT worth $35+ dollars especially because the threads can easily be caught and pulled and difficult to get particles out. $35 for this duster is PRICEY as it is NOT worth it. I would have returned it but I have a tall SUV so I like the long handle. However, for my money to go the distance, I would Instead, get two California dusters for the same price: The Original California Car Duster - 2 Pack
