## Description

Scotch Super 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape is a strong, premium grade, 7 mil thick, all-weather vinyl-insulating tape. It is flame-retardant and designed to perform continuously in ambient temperatures up to 105C (220F). The tape is conformable for cold weather application down to -18C (0F). It has excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalies, acids, corrosion and varying weather conditions (including ultraviolet exposure). The combination of elastic backing and aggressive adhesive provides moisture-tight electrical and mechanical protection with minimum bulk. This versatile electric tape is compatible with rubber and synthetic splicing compounds. Scotch Super 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape is UL Listed and is a Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Certified “Insulating Tape. Scotch Super 33+ Tape is designed for above/below grade, indoor/outdoor, low and high voltage applications and for harnessing cables. This tape offers electrical and mechanical protection with the combination of a pressure sensitive, rubber resin adhesive and elastic, PVC backing. It provides a protective jacket for high voltage cable splices. This electrical tape is highly resistant to UV rays, abrasion, moisture, alkalis, solvents and many acids. I am using this to wrap painted metal pipe posts before installing WiFi and camera mounts on them in order to protect the paint and also to secure cat6 cable to the posts. It works great for this and while I am not using it in a conventional way, I have done enough electrical work to tell that it would be outstanding for that too. I have bought it multiple times already and will continue buying it as I see no reason to try anything else. I have used the 1" and 2" rolls.
