The perfect lunch/snack box for adults + kids
Been eyeing this for years and happy to finally cave and get one for myself! 👍💗Super affordable, lightweight, great quality and cute! Perfect for lunch or as a snack box for adults and kids. Very easy to clean, no leaks and doesn’t open in my bag + great size!

Fantastic
Sturdy lid that stays closed but easy for kids to open. Good quality stainless that cleans easily and will take a lot of daily use. Compartments and lid are not fully sealed so liquid will egress between them. Just the right size for elementary school lunch.

Great lunch container used by an adult
I know a lot of people are using these for their children's lunches. I actually got it for myself and am very pleased. It is a good size for me since I don't eat a huge lunch. I typically pack around 500 calories. I follow a Keto diet and it allows me to bring a nice little variety. The picture was the first time I used it. Just for reference that was a 600 calorie lunch. 4 Slices of Salami, 4 Slices of Ham, 2 Hard boiled eggs, an ounce of cheddar cheese, a little over half an ounce of pecans, and some Parmesan crisps.I had plenty of room for more of each item if I had wanted it. I pack my lunch at night and stick it in the refrigerator. The pecans and crisps stay nice and crispy. I pack pork rinds a lot too and they also stay crisp overnight in the refrigerator. It is obviously not leak proof and it is not intended to be. I don't see that as a negative since I knew it buying it. I do plan on buying some dip containers to use with it.It is obviously not microwave safe. So if I intend to take something that has to be heated I just put it on a paper plate and microwave it or I use a different container that day.It is dishwasher safe and very easy to clean. It is not insulated. It isn't going to keep your food hot or cold very long. It does just fine on my 20 minute commute and I put it in the refrigerator when I get to work. An insulated bag would be a must if you have to keep it out of the refrigerator. It is pricey that is for sure. But it is well built and I think it will last a while. The lid is nice and secure.

Not just for kids!
I love this lunch box! My major concerns when purchasing were [1] whether it could hold enough food for a grown-up lunch, [2] whether the number and size of the compartments was optimal (should I have gone with the Bento Trio?), [3] whether I could deal with the box and its individual compartments not being leak-proof, and [4] whether it was worth the high price.[1] The box is bigger than it appears. It may not look it, but two inches is surprisingly deep. You can see from the photos that the box is hardly packed to the gills, and what's pictured made for a very satisfying lunch. Obviously, appetites differ, and your mileage may vary.[2] I love having five compartments! It really takes the stress out of packing lunch. It promotes variety, and it allows me to use up those silly amounts of leftovers I sometimes have hanging around. If you want more of any one item, you can simply put it in more than one compartment. Note: I am not a sandwich eater, so having a compartment of specific dimensions to accommodate sliced bread was not a concern for me.[3] Remember everyone, this lunchbox is NOT LEAKPROOF. With a few work-arounds, this has turned out to be just fine. When I want to pack salsa, hummus, salad dressing, etc., I use a Kids Konserve Stainless Steel Mini Container. A set of three is half the price of the LunchBots Condiment Containers, and they fit perfectly in one of the Cinco's smaller compartments. Although the Cinco's lid does snap on fairly securely, I'm paranoid about my lunch exploding in my bag during my morning commute, so I secure the whole thing with a Grifiti X-Style Silicone Band.[4] I have been very satisfied with this lunch box, and I anticipate using it for years to come, which makes the ~$40 price tag worth it for me. I love the sturdy construction and simple design. All around, an excellent product.Update: This box is still in great shape five years after purchase. I’ve added some photos to illustrate the diversity of lunches I’ve packed in the box over the years.

I love the size
I bought these for my kids to use for taking lunch to school. I love the size. Perfect for fitting everything needed. I would use my silicone muffin cups to add additional division when needed in the bigger compartment. My biggest complaint is that while I didn't expect these to be leak proof, I had hoped that contents wouldn't mix between compartments. My kids crackers or sandwich would get soggy if I packed a juicy fruit or item that had to thaw. The liquid slipped under the seams of the walls or over. The walls of the compartments do not touch the lid when closed so when turned on its side, which is how my kids' was while in their lunch box and backpack, the contents (any type pf liquid and even a few crackers) would some times shift compartments. I used paper towel or silicone muffin cups for juicy fruits to help keep the liquid from getting on other foods. Another issue with the container being stainless steel, if one item was cold or frozen, it made the whole container cold, which sometimes meant the crackers or chips would get stale or rubbery from sitting in the cold container. Again, I usually lined the compartments with paper towel or used silicone muffin cups to keep things that should get cold from being ruined before lunch. Otherwise great lunch containers. Very durable. Good quality. I liked that it was all one piece and one lid. Easy to clean.

High quality seal and plenty of room
Perfect amount of space for our growing boy. This is our daily lunch box for my son. The seal is solid. It goes through the dishwasher every night and no rust issues so far. I love that you can find high quality stainless steel essentials so easily now.
