Merkur Futur 702003 Adjustable Double Edge Safety Razor, Gold Finish

I've had a 38C for the past decade that was my primary razor. Needless to say I loved that razor - I recently dropped it however and it changed the angle of attack on one side that was causing significant razor burn - so I needed a replacement. I have a 34G but it's a bit too small and not heavy enough for what I was accustomed to for a 3 pass BBS shave. I love the gold and so rather than replacing the 38C which only comes in chrome, I tried the Futur and couldn't be happier. It's nice to be able to increase the blade gap for a more aggressive shave should you want but I typically keep it on a 3 which seems just a bit more aggressive than a standard 38C gap.Fantastic shave and fantastic razor. BTW I'm using Tabac soap and Personna Med preps which have recently been replaced by the Accuthrives.

Had this for couple years, have cut myself up pretty good on a couple of occasions but still love it. It wasn't until I found the right razor that I truly got the most out of it. Now using Treet Platinum Super Stainless and rarely ever cut myself any more. I would suggest to any new purchaser to start with the gentlest of blades (buy a mixer pack) with the least aggressive setting then dial it up as needed. I shave my head and face with this with no issues -- just be mindful not to apply any pressure at first, then gradually find your sweet spot.

Lo principal es que la calidad del cromado en oro es excelente, es una pieza hermosa que reluce en la mano. Tiene desde el ajuste mas bajo una apertura considerable, pero en el afeitado se nota una baja exposición de la hoja de afeitar, por lo mismo permite obtener un afeitado muy al ras sin causar irritación. Pero es un rastrillo al que hay que poner atención ya que la apertura puede causar un corte si uno no tiene el cuidado necesario. Está implicado que es necesario un muy buen jabón deslizante y una buena hoja de afeitar, en mi caso, mis preferidos para emparejar son Tabac y Feather. Si te lo puedes permitir, elige el dorado, no te vas a arrepentir.

Ce rasoir Merkur Futur plaqué or est très beau, mais naturellement je préfère celui en or (plus cher bien sûr !). Les résultats du rasage ne sont pas supérieurs à ceux du Merkur Futur mat (le moins chers), il sert plutôt à des collectionneurs comme mon humble personne !...Mais naturellement il peut être utilisé pour un rasage quotidien.Si vous avez les moyens de vous l'offrir je vous encourage vivement à le faire!....Pour les autres conseils d'utilisation lisez mon commentaire pour le Merkur Futur brillant.
