I wanted to try this gum because I love black licorice and it did not disappoint. It reminds me of the Good and Plenty licorice candy. It's not as soft as the gum I usually chew, which is Pur gum. The size of the piece is small like a chiclet. Like most xylitol gums, the flavor does not last as long. I would probably purchase this gum again, but not too often because it is a little bit more pricey than the other gums I chew.

Such yummy flavor! The flavor is amazing but like other xylitol gum, it is short lived. I love that it is a better option for my kids!

Husband is diabetic and so we avoid sugar, etc... xylitol is supposed to be good for your teeth. Good news, it contains NO aspartame. The only disappointment is that the flavor doesn't last longer than maybe 10 minutes. So he is disappointed by that. Beyond that, it says the black licorice flavor is very good. It is a very small jar too. I think a bit spendy. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I used to buy Spry Licorice gum but they have been out forever so I decided to try Xylichew. It has been a perfect substitute! Flavor is great and long lasting. I recommend to anyone who likes Spry or licorice gum.

I love this gum but, the description said 500 pieces of gum! It also said 500 pieces in the following item listing! It is only 50 pieces! 5 stars for the gum. The seller needs to change the listing.

Licorice: Authentic flavor, good firm chew and doesn't fade fast. Four not five stars only because of price, even though I get that high quality is costlier to produce. Pomegranate/raspberry: A weak flavor to start, and gone in minutes. A solid nope. Still four stars for ingredients, but three on flavor and price. On balance, closer to three. I'd buy it again if the flavor improved.

If you love the taste of black licorice, you should love this gum. Like most gums sweetened with Xylitol, the flavor doesn't last long. But the initial taste of licorice is nicer than I expected. Just don't buy it if you hate black licorice, for obvious reasons.

Flavor gone within three minutes. Pieces are too small. Waste of money.

Loved the liquorice flavour

Nice chewing gum but the flavour dies so quickly and it is very expensive for the amount you get. Reminds me of the old PK Blue chewing gum with is licorice flavour.

Great tasting if you like black licorice you'll love this. But it's much too expensive.
