I bought it for my 5 year old son for Christmas and he loves it. I was looking for something lower end for him to start out with and most of the vehicles at that price point needed a bunch of AA batteries (which are expensive). This truck has a built in rechargeable battery with an attached USB cable that winds up into a reel at the bottom for easy storage. Charge time is about 45 min to an hour and the charge lasts for 15-20 min. It doesn't work in grass, not too well in carpet, but great on concrete or packed dirt. The remote looks cheap and there is no antenna but for $25 who cares?
