Fantastic!!
My parents have a spiral hand drill that is incredible. I have tried multiple brands trying to get something equally functional for myself and have failed until now. I didn't even buy this for the spiral drill, I wanted the hand drill and got it as a bonus. My only qualm is the small ring/sleeve near the collet that you can hold to better guide the drillbit – it's SMALL, basically useless if you have normal sized hands. The other hand drill is also great. The chuck is easy to use, it has basically no moving parts to break, it's just simple and works.I think the biggest star here are the drill bits. They are VERY good. Minimal pressure, a few twists of the hand drill, and they've dug deeper than I expected.

Dull drill bits...
Pin vise works as expected although it's a bit small. The hand drill doesn't work smoothly and tends to stick on the downstroke. A bit of deburring may fix this. The drill bits are very dull and do not drill holes in even the softest wood. So dull they barely dent the wood I'm trying to drill

Great product!
Worked perfectly!

Great Tool For The Right Application
If you need to create at tiny hole in delicate material, this tool is for you. Complete with a nice collection of micro bits. Obviously, if the size of the work surface and the strength of the material can handle it, a drill bit in a special chuck in a rotary tool is more efficient. But there are times when you must 'feel' the material and move incrementally - and that's what this tool is for. The price is so reasonable; I wish I had bought mine years ago.

Well made
I like that they are easy to use and the collection of drill bits. I use them mostly on cured polymer clay jewelry pieces to drill holes for fasteners.

Get what you pay for.
The pen vise is fine, it holds a drill bit, what more could you ask? The push drill is all but useless. Looking at the stock advertising pic, you can see the thinner spiral shaft between the chuck and the handle, well, the drill functions by forcing that spiral shaft, under spring tension, through a square hole at the bottom of the handle. The result is rough, squeaky, metal on metal friction action that isn't anything close to "smooth." So much so that the smaller drill bits will just snap in two rather than drill because it's almost impossible to produce enough down pressure to overcome the friction without also producing more lateral force than the small bits can tolerate. It certainly doesn't hold a candle to the old vintage Stanley push drills.

This Pin Vise Hand Drill is perfect for my small crafts
I've had to drill out holes in a few small projects of mine, and the capabilities of this drill is mostly good for it's price. In a pinch, it does work, however the drill has jammed slightly - nothing a bit of tugging can't solve, but the lack of consistently smooth action knocks off a point across the board. I'm assuming this is more of a QC issue, and while adding some oil to lubricate the action has increased how smooth it is, it does still catch at this same spot, making drilling just a smidge trickier than it needs to be for a pin vise.

It works for wiring my frames.
Easy to use for wiring the frames I buy for my watercolor paintings. I haven’t used it a lot but it works nicely!
