Unit not fully functional and without serial number identifier
The unit was purchased knowingly in used condition. However, it does not have a serial number identification and has not held a battery charge to operate longer than 10 mins since opened. Furthermore, the bluetooth link to other headsets does not work. Very disappointed with purchase and have no recourse without a serial number with Sena.

Battery already giving out after six months
It’s been six months since i purchased this and now the battery will not keep a charge. I charge it overnight within an hour of use it says it’s dying. Very frustrating! Contacting sena today. This seems to be a reoccurring problem with these headsets.

Perfect for Manufacturing!
I work in a food manufacturing plant where we often need to communicate in a very loud environment. These are the perfect solution for training employees in an industrial environment. The headsets allow you to maintain social distancing, communicate clearly, and protect your hearing simultaneously. I'm sure these will have many other uses for us in the future as well.

Batteries are terrible
We bought 2 headsets to use on a well drilling rig. The work fine, however the batteries are lousy. After a couple hours they announce "battery is low" and then shuts off. You turn them back on, but the will just shut down shortly after. I need a headset that can last all day not die before lunchtime.

Weak batteries, no quality control
We have 18 pairs. Battery life and charging is terrible. We’ve tried bigger batteries and they weren’t any better. I have 3 brand new pairs not work out of the box. They are not good if they get rained on. These things are junk.

Bad battery life, static noise
I have purchased three of these headsets. Two of them have already been warrantied out and two are about to be warrantied again. On failing units the batteries signal that they are dead and shut down the headset after less than 4 hours of work. One of the units is constantly broadcasting static into the mesh. One of the units has a problem with the left ear shutting off at random with no way to make it cut back on. Lots of problems but good warranty.

Works
These work very good at noise protection. It’s actually absurd how I can hear radio and voice while running a chainsaw with this on. The sound quality isn’t that great but I wouldn’t expect it to be with so many features fit into this package. There is a sort of static that seems to always be present on these. I don’t know if that’s from the protection or what. It’s a minor issue but one I wouldn’t expect on a $500 headset. Other than that, these are solid for what they are made for.

Extremely quiet
I got these for my hubby who works as a Technical Support Specialist, from home. He is on the phone all day, and has to be able to hear precisely what his clients are telling him regarding their computers. A secondary problem, is his head is extremely large, so large in fact he has to have special glasses frames. So must headphones either are uncomfortable, or allowed in too much ambient noise. The first thing he remarked on receiving these was how quiet his calls were, making it easier to hear his clients. The bonus was his ears not getting rubbed raw, and sweating all day.The quick use guide got him working on these almost immediately. The online guide, written for the lay person, as well as in several languages, goes into greater detail on settings, and capabilities. BluTooth 4.1 is the version it uses. There is a configuration program (which also lets you update firmware) on website that let's you program radio stations, or what mesh net channel, and other audio settings, you might want to use. He's reviewed audio files from his phone calls, and he is coming across crisp and clear, with no bleed through of household noises. Because this is being used with a computer, it is not able to answer calls from the headset. It will however if it is paired with a cell phone. Easy to switch to another headset is necessary, except when on calls. Use of headphone is roughly 40% talking, 60% waiting for calls, and it's never gone below 80% on the battery. They are a really expensive purchase, and we have no way to tell at this point how long they will last. But if you can afford them, or your company is willing to purchase them, these are an excellent buy.
