Most of the bad reviews are correct. I wish I could get my money back.

Why?
Being married to the alpha of all alpha males, I can 100% say he would never read something like this. He doesn’t have to because he IS the alpha male. This is for alpha male wannabes who by nature, never will be. True alpha males are completely confident in who they are. They are so confident in who they are, without being egotistical, that reading something like this would seem odd to them. That being said, why would anyone read this book? You’re either born an alpha male or you’re not. If you’re not, who are you, and why are you trying to be something you are not? Be who you are, and embrace that. Faking being an alpha when you’re not fools no one, and will end up in destruction. It will also end up taking away from who you really are, and what you have to offer. Be yourself, imperfections and all. Don’t rob the world of yourself.

Alpha What???
To be fair, the author is probably trying to provide insights for those who lack confidence on developing it. Look, this entire alpha male thing is as played out as Brut, and Jordache jeans. If you can't raise the dead, and instantly heal the sick with a wave of your alpha hands, then you are nothing more than just another self-serving, stubborn, hardheaded human being. You put your pants on one leg at a time, you don't know everything, and you forget many things...but you do your best to take care of your responsibilities, and lead those who may not have much confidence...you're not the average person, but you didn't come from "Krypton" either. Not that "we all" do these things, but If you look down your nose at folks who are different from you, push people out of the way to get where you are going, honk at everyone that doesn't move at your speed, step on heads, and stab people in the back to win, you're not an alpha male - you're just American.

Nonsense
This is just a bunch of rambling cliches and nonsense.

Ignorance
Well I can tell you this book is a waste of time because the man who actually coined the phrase “alpha male” is also the one who debunked his own theory. You can never always be the alpha male, if I’m in a kitchen with a chef and a scientist and we are trying to make a perfectly baked loaf of bread who is the alpha male? If I’m trying to create a vaccine, who is the alpha male then? This is just rubbish, the alpha male is 9 timesout of 10 just the biggest doosh bag in the room.

It's Worth Whatever You Want It To Be
I knew going into this book it might be a little rocky based on the book art work and the "BEST SELLER" icon but I'm only a few hours in and it's good. It's good in the sense that sometimes you need to hear someone say things that may be obvious as it's really to forget principles that once you hear them you think "oh yea, duh?". A great example there's an exercise when he says "write down a list of things that scare you, then choose one and do it. It will be easier after you do it more and this will build your confidence".Yes that is obvious but if you're getting up, going to work, driving home, watching TV (repeat) you fall into these habits of continuation. Sometime you just needed to have your bubble popped and think. "oh wow, I have a terrible fear of public speaking...maybe i'll plan to try a open mic and just try 1 min. to start..do a joke or two and then get off".All the haters are in that CLASSIC mindset of "dude I already knew that, this book sucks". Then put stop listening and nothing changes. I'm not sure why I'm writing this much about this book and haven't even finished half but here is what I do.At lunch at work I go for a 1/2 hr walk1.) 15 min. I listen to a comedy podcast2.) 15 min. I listen to this so when I walk back in I'm feeling a little charged up3.) Have an excel spreadsheet that says "what do I need to do to improve" "What did I do today to improve". Super basic and if I slack off it's very obvious because I have a nice blank cell to stare back at me so why not choose something tiny if it's a busy day...."did 5 pushups" "learned one new word". WHATEVER
