Used for over a year to write the review as I wanted to experience it fully before reviewing it. Worth the wait , it's very nice little induction hob. It takes on any job small like saute to fry on. Well impressed You need to find your right balance for which number you want to use and once you figure it out, job done. Very easy to clean. Used it even outdoor boiling cooking in order to avoid all the water vapour and keep the kitchen damp free. Heats up fast no complain

I won't mention value for money as the price varies massively! I suggest you watch the product for a bit. Massive adjustability of power levels , better than a lot of home built in cookers. Fast response (almost as good as gas) Better than halogen (safer, faster, more energy efficient) Will take a very large stock pan , pasta pan, fry pan. The only down size is the size of the unit , its Big . Check the measurements and put it on a piece of paper so you fully realise the size. That brings to the box and packing it was sent it. I was surprised the unit arrived undamaged as when I opened the squashed box there was enormous room to of put almost three in the box but only one very small bit of paper to hold it in place . TERRIBLY PACKING AMAZON . especially as I've received soft items that can't get damaged with the air filed packing and paper to stop them from moving . Its now July 2024 and two plus years so I thought I'd update. The hob isn't used everyday but regularly, it's performed perfectly (via a 3000w inverter used only in a motorhome) 100% worth buying. And have also suggested others looking for this type of product in a motorhome to buy - which they have and all are very much glad they purchased.

Had a cheaper one before and was sick of the lack of control at lower temperatures (1000w for 1s, off for 3s) which would ruin rice. Lowest continuous power of this one is 660w and the pulse for lesser powers seems more regular. Also, temperature control option is pretty accurate. If used with a decent, thick-based pan then all good! Photo is from a 32cm pan. Too big for it really. Smaller pans distribute the heat much better. All the usual benefits of induction, obviously. Back here to say after 18 months of use it's still going strong. Also I had to take it apart and can confirm that the element covers the outer circle.

Absolute game changer, I love this hob, temperature control made simple, easy to use and works brilliantly, my only comment would be that the feet are a little slippy on my worktop so it can move slightly during use

Instant heat, easy to control but like all things in cooking, you have to get to know its character! Clever instant buttons for boil and warm but beware they sometimes seem to revert when you have changed the setting when the water/dish has boiled and you want to just simmer. Don't know why! BUT EXCELLENT overall - light and easy to put away on its side. ADVICE: start on the default 5 setting and just use the power numbers to go up and down, 10 for hottest, 1 for lowest simmer, to discover which setting is best for your dish. The response is instant so you get quick feedback. My pressure cooker has worked better than ever before on low simmer! Temperature control is fine too but it is slow to settle and you may got too hot or too cold for a while until it settles to the temp you want. I would not change it and after reading all the reviews of problems with other hobs, eg full on/off simmer, NONE of those apply to this excellent design, I am relieved and pleased to discover!

I was really enjoying this induction hob, it provided instant and powerful heat compared with typical resistive electric hobs. However, after about 5 months, the hob suddenly wouldn't detect any of my stainless/carbon steel pots and pans. I've contacted the seller for a replacement. Update September 2025: The free replacement induction hob I received in March was working up until now, where it is exhibiting the exact same failure and not detecting any of my steel pots and pans. I will be seeking a refund as this product has been very dissappointing with regards to reliability.

For the past few years I have heavily used a table top Induction Hob made by a different manufacturer. I searched online for a Hob that had finer low temperature adjustment for better simmering. I came across the Duxtop 9600LS and decided to buy one. Firstly I would say that after using it for a few days and become familiar with it the Hob is a doddle to use. I am chiefly using the power values of 0.5 to 10 rather than the temperature settings. The leaflet that comes with the Hob gives clear instructions for the touch controls. Once you have learned that the Lock function activates and deactivates when you touch the ikon for more than a couple of seconds and that the timer setting toggles between minutes and hours you are well on the way to knowing all you need to know. The Power default setting of 5.0 seems to correspond to a Temperature setting of 160°c which is quite a high setting. I use lower settings than these to simmer curries. I have not had other reviewers experience of the heat setting jumping from a low value to Maximum. Provided that your pans are definitely suitable for Induction cooking you should not witness the E0 error when the pan is in the Hob. Other commenters have stayed that this Hob is quite noisy. It does not appear to be much different to my old Hob. They have fans and the noise is simply fan noise. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. If you haven’t tried Induction cooking I would recommend this particular item.

I have just moved into a new apartment. I mainly use an air fryer for cooking but sometimes I need a hob, which was gas in my old apartment. I didn't want to buy a new cooker as I hardly ever used the old one so I bought the Duxtop Induction Hob, Induction Cooker Countertop Burner instead. I had used an induction hob before when I lived abroad. I find induction cooking better than straight electric or gas. Far more contollable than either. With twenty control settings it so easy to simmer, something I found difficult with gas or electric. It heats up rapidly thus saves power and money. Put simply I couldn't do without it. I looked at lots of small induction hobs before buying this one. It's ease of use and total controllability makes it stand out from the rest on Amazon. I personally can not recommend this product highly enough. It is a brilliant buy.
