Road Bike Pedals with Toe Clips and Straps (Pair, 9/16in)

they do not self-orient, require skill to make work. excellent build quality.

Seem like decent pedals for the price. Bearings feel a bit notchy, but they are lightweight and otherwise good quality. Unfortunately these can't be installed because the factory used a left spindle to make the right pedal.

Great looking, light pedal/clip combo. Probably works best on a stationary bike. Almost useless on a road bike. It’s nearly impossible to toe your foot into the pedal while moving on a road bike. I really wanted this pedal to work, but from every start, I just couldn’t flip the pedal up and get my shoe in. Ended up riding with my right foot strapped in and my left foot mashing on top of the clip or the pedal upside down. Nicely made pedal from Taiwan, just form over function for me.

Size matters! I wear size 9 shoes and the toe clips on these were so short it was impossible for me to properly insert my foot in the pedal. This was like a kid’s pedal. Easy enough to return but how hard would it be to either sell a product that a normal adult can use or to say it won’t work. They sure looked nice though

These Pedals are great and designed perfectly for Road Bikes...Some people have said they are to small for their feet....(Not True) unless you are a Sasquatch. You are suppose to pedal a road bike with the ball of your foot not the arch. This is how you get the best power transfer when riding. The Toe of your shoe stops at the end of the cage leaving the ball of your foot in the right position on the pedal.Some people have also said that the pedals are not made for road riding but are more suited to stationary bikes because they can't get their foot in the Cage when moving...(Not True) all pedals with Toe Clips and Straps are hard to get into when you first start off riding/moving...the secret is to insert your dominant foot into the pedal in the up position and the empty pedal in the down position near the ground..now push off hard with your free foot and pedal hard with your dominant foot in the Cage one half turn...now you are moving and your empty pedal is in the up position...now with the Toe of your Shoe pull back on the Tab at the back end of the pedal (that is what it is there for) this will Right the Pedal in a horizontal position so you can push your Toe into the Cage..practice this when the bike is not moving and you are holding yourself upright...it just takes practice...if this doesn't work it is you NOT the Pedals...at first practice this on a flat surface or slight downhill...makes it easier to get momentum.
