Thoughtful book for kids
The new grammar tree series is a great tool for teaching english grammar. The book is gradual and covers all important concepts in a simple way that is age appropriate. It will work as a refresher course also if an older student is struggling with the foundation.

Poorly researched...inaccurate
Just received this book a few minutes back. I had high expectations from this book considering it is from OUP but the book did not live up to my expectations. Appreciate that the book is for young learns but it must not be inaccurate. For example, the articles chapter states that a noun starting with a vowel will demand 'an' otherwise 'a'. This is not correct. it is the vowel 'sound' that determines whether 'a' or 'an' will precede and not just the vowel. Such fundamental mistakes are not expected from OUP authors. This is just another book for basic practice but I doubt its accuracy now. Hence returning...
