Product description Z Automotive Tazer JL Lite Programmer The Tazer JL Lite is a device specifically designed for your vehicle. It unlocks features and allows existing features to perform in unique ways. The Tazer JL Lite features can be broken into three categories. Vehicle Settings are accessed with the engine OFF and the ignition in the “RUN” position. These are changes made to the Jeep such as tire size, gear ratios or settings which accommodate other upgrades. These changes will continue to operate after the Tazer JL Lite is unplugged. Live Functions are accessed with the engine ON. These are operations the Tazer JL Lite performs live, only while it is physically connected plugged in. “Non-Menu” Live Functions are not located in a menu. They are activated automatically or with a steering wheel button combination. These are operations the Tazer JL Lite performs live, only while it is physically connected. **Q: Will this work for a 2021 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon jl?**
A: It will work for some of the features, but if you have a rubicon you will definitely want the more expensive version (tazer Mini) it has more features made specifically for the rubicon. You thank me in the long run cost is about $110 more than the lite.

**Q: Will this work for a 2021 Gladiator Mojave?**
A: This is a lite. You do not want this I returned it and got the full one from xterm terrain on line. Does none of the upgrades only a light show.

**Q: What motor for the JL will this work with? The 6 cylinder or 4 cylinder?**
A: It will work with both 4 & 6 cylinder

**Q: Will you be able to disable the auto start stop feature with this unit or you need the mini**
A: It should remember your last setting. If you have the start/stop disabled when you shut off your vehicle it should be off next time you start it.

Works great, installation directions are challenging, also not sure why the box comes marked with z locker which is a different product for the tru lock lockers found in Rubicons and the rear axle of the Willy’s., I was apprehensive to open the box, I even returned the first unit unopened because I thought they shipped the wrong product ugh. Be sure to update the firmware first on a computer. had no trouble finding the Jeep harness plugs to relocate to the tazer, had to remove panel under column to access the module, then pry the fabric panel surrounding the column base to get at the connectors. I’m a little mobility challanged and had a tough time getting in a physical position to make the necessary changes under the dash. I recommend getting the optional extension cable. programming commands are left arrow followed by cruise function, I had to watch a you tube video to figure out the arrow symbol on the instructions was the left arrow button on the left side of the steering wheel the instructions use a combination of symbols and words. you need to hold the left arrow on the left side of the wheel while you use the cruise buttons on the right side of the wheel to marry the tazer Guess I’m not the sharpest these days 🤦🏼. I bought this primarily for the Start stop last state and TPMS features, and they work flawlessly. My jeep is a 2025 Willys unlimited, sadly the unconnect 5 infotainment system is not compatible yet. So I couldn’t use some of the other cool features older JL Jeeps can access, will check back later to see if future updates will offer more functionality. I bought the lite version, plan to upgrade it to a mini if the other features are sorted out.
