This product is well made, sturdy, nice looking and very comfortable. The red color is beautiful. The buckwheat fill makes it easy to customize and scrunch for a perfect seated meditation. Before this purchase I had problems with my legs getting uncomfortable and going numb. This cushion helps to remedy that problem so I can concentrate on my meditation. The product came quickly, and was packaged well. I had some concerns about some older customer reviews that mentioned their buckwheat fill had some bugs in it. I wrote the seller to ask if this was a real issue and if so, had the issue since been resolved. I got a quick response explaining that the 2017 problem was an isolated incident and the products involved were refunded. Unbeknownst to them, their buckwheat supplier had sent them a batch that had not been processed and cleansed properly. My cushion is clean and I'm happy and worry-free. I am considering buying the crescent shaped zafu at some point. Great customer service, honest and kind.

I did not realize the zabuton was sooooo small. The actual TRUE measurements are 21 inches x 21 inches (I measured it). It is NOT 24 x 24 as described. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I got the pillow to sit on and decided to get the square zabuton as my meditation temple has zabutons and pillows we sit on top of the square zabutons. I am returning it and buying elsewhere. I do like the pillow but the zabuton is NOT THE ACTUAL SIZE.

It has a sufficient amount of filling, but the dimensions are exaggerated. They describe it as rectangular (it’s actually squared), 4 inches thick (more like 2.5 inches), and 24 inches wide (it’s 22 inches wide). I’m 5’11” with long legs, a couple inches can make a difference. I also ordered a Zafu (pillow), so i’ll wait and see if it’ll all give me enough space before returning it. Either way, they need to update the dimensional specifics for this product.

UPDATE: I am now using this outside of its intended purpose but I will share as it's become exponentially more useful to me. In light of the recent quarantine measures and the need to work from my home desk, I combined a few different foot rests and pads to get comfy. My desk had a bar across the bottom so I used a hard plastic tilted foot rest (standard from any office supply store) on the side closest to me, with another plumb zafu on the other side of the bar. I then laid this zabuton across the top. It works amazingly well and allows me to reposition the buckwheat to get different support. J can recline back further and stretch out, I can dig my heels in and make a tilted pillow, or I can kick the buckwheat back and have a light cushion on top of the plastic foot rest. For the price I'd still say it's expensive for this BUT it's comfortable and works perfectly and have low cost longevity, so I'm raising my score from a 2 to a 4! Also, this thing sucked trying to use it as a back cushion.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I'm 6' and my wife is 5'1" and neither one of us found this usable. It's just so small that it feels like you're trying to sit on top of a small pedestal. This zabuton is the size of what a decent zafu should be. It's hard for me to send packages back due to my schedule so I decided to avoid the hassle and keep it as an expensive back cushion. Would not recommend if you're over the age of 13.

These are not 24 X 24 X 3 as they are advertised in their second photo, they are roughly 21 X 20 and extremely cheap on filling. I now see others have already complained about this, yet this is still available with a lie in the post? Amazon either needs to step up and take down the listing or stop giving customers a hard time for returning items ( I had received a nasty e-mail about my returns yet I keep what works and send back things that don't work, have inaccurate listings, or are super low quality.

I thought that it would be firmer and keep its shape, but it's like a more firm bean bag, which worked out better for me. I'm using this to put under my meditation bench to give my ankles something to hang off of, and the bean bag nature of it let's me adjust the height.It's well made, the perfect size for a 5'3" female like me. Very comfortable NO BUGS. I'm not convinced that the other reviewers didn't mistake the buckwheat grains itself as bugs.

Before using this product, I would meditate on my bed. Never again! My posture and comfort level while meditating has improved significantly with this cushion. It feels like it forces me to have better posture (I have terrible posture), but in a "feel good" effortless kind of way. I don't squirm around as much, which always caused me to be distracted from my practice. I thought it looked small when I took it out of the package, but it ended up the perfect size for me (I am 5'3). My mom got the round zafu and thought it was too small because her knees were hanging off (She is 5'5). This one would have been better for her.Also, I LOVE the purple color. It is bright and emanates a powerful aura.

The Zabuton arrived on time and appropriately packaged. This cushion is excellent! The covering is sturdy and it has a generous supply of buckwheat filling. This zabuton will last a very long time. Excellent construction, very reasonable price, and perfect fit as a floor cushion for meditation. Would not hesitate purchasing items from this company again. Excellent product offered by Amazon.
