This is a nice lap desk for my 15 inch laptop. I have an inch on each side of the desk which is what I wanted. I use the arm of my chair for the mouse. My chair is small so this works perfect for me. The memory foam cushion and the arm rest are really nice and comfortable. It's also nice as it has a place that holds a table or phone and it can be used as a regular lap desk also. Works for everything but not at the same time. I like the silver with the black. It looks nice.

This is a very light lap desk. The fabric handle makes it easy and comfortable to carry. It would also be easy to repair if it breaks. Our last lap desk had a plastic handle. That was hard to hold, felt uncomfortable in your hand, and now that it cracked, I can't fix it. The cushion covers the entire lap portion of the tray. It is soft and squishy with just a touch of firmness to keep everything supported. You could easily use this as a lumbar cushion if you need to stash the lap desk quickly. It is smaller than many lap desks. This makes it very portable. You could not put a 15 inch or 17 inch laptop on this comfortably. But a small laptop\tablet like a surface or an iPad with a keyboard are perfect. My son loves using this just with a standard notebook and markers to doodle. So, the surface is nice even for writing. It also makes a decent tray for a dinner plate. Not the best but it works to help steady things so you can have eating utensils and napkins next to your plate. Don't put your drink on it though. That doesn't work. This is probably one of if not the best small lap desk for the price.

This works wonderfully. I use it daily and have been since it arrived a few months ago. My laptop was marking my leg from being warm and it's not really good for it so I bought this. I like the little wrist rest, it keeps my wrists straighter, and the desk is high quality and works very well. It keeps my computer cool and protects my legs. I love this product! Perfect size for my laptop computer and ipad. Lightweight, making it easy to move around. Wrist rest is the best, providing needed support for my achy thumb joints. I've owned other lap desks, but this is the one for me. Way to go, Lapgear!

Ok this is positive and negative, love/hate relationship with this. First off the softness and padding on this are fantastic. It is comfy on the lap and well suited for long use. The material is also not the type that heats up and makes it uncomfortable on the bottom. The handle is a nice touch. The carbon fiber is a great surface appearance. The little divot / phone holder is a nice feature but can't use it so much because my laptops take up the whole space, I should have probably bought a large version but that's my fault. So far so good. The downside, it is slippery as heck. My laptop constantly slips and slides all over the place especially my MacBook Pro ... for my Razer, it's not as much of an issue because it has larger rubber feet. So I solved this by putting some KontrolFreek rubber feet on it and that has helped but it is still slippery. Then there was the heating up smell with my Razer Blade Advanced, for those who don't know, it gets VERY warm while gaming and when it does, the lacquer or coating really smells ... well odd and uncomfortable and burns my nose. So as long as it doesn't heat up, it's fine. Just as an aside to that as well, there is no ventilation here so be aware of that the laptop does not get any tilt to allow extra airflow. So would I return it? No but it does have some quirks I'm not happy with.

Just received this today and it is as expected. the quality is great, it vents the heat from my MacBook and keeps everything secure while I work on it.
