8 year old loves it.
Bought this for an 8 year old for Christmas. Great for learning. Probably not strong enough for thick fabric like denim, but I wouldn’t have expected it to be. Foot pedal is single speed, not variable. Stitch selection is easy, and lots of stitch options.

Great investment for beginners
For a beginner using a machine it is the best investment. Everything was already threaded. The video was very informative. I also went to YouTube and watched the product video. My first time using a machine and I thought I was a seamstress lol. I wish it had a mini table arm. Pros: lightweight, already threaded, mini light, optional stitches, batteries optional. Cons: no table, when I finish stitching and lift the foot to start again (after cutting) thread will come out of hole. Not sure if its me or the machine.

Malfunctioning right out of the box
You cannot use a normal thread spool on this machine so I don’t think it would be good for beginners.As soon as I plugged it in it started sewing full speed. I checked the foot pedal to make sure it was not engaged and it was not. I unplugged it and it still continued to sew for awhile causing a big tangled mess of thread. So cheap. Plug wire was like paper thin too.

Good for beginners
This product is good for beginner seamstress’ or maybe even kids learning to sew but definitely not for advanced people. Pretty sturdy so good for a gift to a kid (10+) or first time seamstress.

Great beginner to intermediate sewing machine
My 17 year old daughter loves this sewing machine, especially because it is portable and easy to use. She wanted one of her own for years now. She has used mine a few times but mine is so advanced that she wanted something a little less imtimidating and this works out perfectly. It is perfect for the price and what all you get. Highly recommend, makes a great gift.

Love this machine, bought it for my kids but ended up using it for myself I’d recommend more mature children!
