The Good, the Bad, and the Great
This gaming keyboard is powered by Razer Chroma RGB and can be customized by downloading the Razer Synapse program and using its tools and features. What I especially like is that the keyboard is colorful and vibrant. The pictures just don’t do justice as this keyboard is super colorful. And if you don’t like how bright it is, you can turn up and down the brightness of the RGB by using FN + F11/F12. There are also some other features with the function key like the pause/break key, and more. There are 2 other FN keys that I don’t use which are F9 and F10. You can research how they work because I never found out what they did. Another great perk of the gaming keyboard is media keys. The media keys allow the option to pause/play songs, go to the previous/next song, and change the volume. This is very helpful as doing that stuff manually is tedious. There are even better things about this keyboard. It has a spill resistant design and is built to last long. The keys on the keyboard in general feel nice and conformable to click and they sound pretty good. The keyboard is also quite quiet when you hit each key. That could either be a good or bad thing. You can decide Another great feature that I find useful on this keyboard is the cable routing. It allows your keyboard setup to look so much cleaner than traditional keyboard. While the keyboard is great and all, there are still some things that feel like they need improvement on. One issue I have with this keyboard is that the keys are not as compact as a traditional keyboard. This is most likely to make the RGB more noticeable, but it makes it hard to type quickly when the keys are more far apart than usual. Some people may say that having more spaced keys is good, but for me, I find it annoying that the keyboard isn’t as compact as what the pictures say. Another thing is that you can’t change the lighting effects without having to go to the Razer Synapse program and doing it manually. While most gaming keyboards allow you to change the RGB effects by using a simple function key, this one doesn’t, which I find just annoying. To make things worse, it seems like the reason why this keyboard can’t switch lighting modes is to advertise the use of the Razer Synapse program, which doesn’t feel right. That’s all I really have to say about this keyboard.

Passed my Year Test, and I use this a lot
Razer does make a good keyboard here. For $60 this was a very reasonable buy. Before buying this keyboard, I spent around $150 wanting to try out a mechanical keyboard, but the experience was awful (see my review on Corsair K70 RGB MK.2). I do a lot of computer stuff. I work on the computer. I game on the computer, and I write and type at 110+ words per minute. Safe to say I am GOOD AT USING A KEYBOARD. This bad boy gets 12+ hours of abuse Every. Single. Day. and is great for everything that I do. After a year of use, the keyboard still feels like it is in very good shape still, so I'm adding my 5-star review to mark this product as world-class. I've taken a photo of it after a year, and here are the flaws that I've noticed, most of which I don't care about. - The keycap paint fades away after some use. See photo. - The backspace key started out a bit squeaky. Seems to have gone away with some use (was worrying at first). - The software is not great. The RGB mixing leaves something to be desired. Software feels bad/unstable in general - but really, run of the mill with modern day software. So long as the keyboard types, it's OK to me. I just use a dull RGB scheme anyway where the keys light up when I type. The backlight also helps me spot dust and hair to remind me to clean it (major plus!). - The volume buttons are a little awkward to click (but the media keys work well enough, and I need my media keys). My last Razer keyboard offered a similar experience, and it took several years WITHOUT cleaning before a couple of buttons started to get stuck (but they still worked! :). Overall very good keyboard for its price. Highly recommend!

Amazing Keyboard
I love the keyboard, I bought it as a gift for my boyfriend but we ended up also buying the cynosa. The RGB is more vibrant in this keyboard and the keyboard itself feels amazing. I love everything about it and it was a great price. My boyfriend prefers the cynosa because it has individual control over every key which makes it more customization and the transitions are not as delayed as this one. I would say I prefer this one and it was probably one of my best purchases.

Great keyboard
I know mechanical keyboards are the "gamers" keyboard, but I really don't get it. This is an ergonomic keyboard, which makes it a bit less noisy (honestly, it is just as load as any mechanical keyboard I have ever used), however I still wouldn't suggest it as a work environment keyboard. I would suggest Logitech for that as they have incredibly quiet and wireless keyboards ideal for the office. This one, it is an all around great keyboard. It is a keyboard great for casual computing and hardcore gaming. I have noticed that my fingers lose their place on the keyboard and that may be because they are used to a different design or it is because I am used to a mechanical keyboard and the sounds of the keys helped my brain remember where they rested, but yea, I am having more trouble with the accuracy of my typing and reaching keys for movement in video games. I still give this keyboard a 5 star rating.

I love this keyboard!
I bought this keyboard because I had two generic keyboards from when I bought my computer. Both worked fine, but one had keys that sticked (not good for gaming,) and the other one was too clicky and loud, (not great for other people,) as I have my computer in a small room, and when I play games its annoying when other people are trying to watch TV. This keyboard brings the best of both worlds, it’s a membrane keyboard, so its super quiet, but its a made gaming and is super responsive! Not to mention it is compatible with razer synapse, totally customizable and with certain games lights up along with the game and gives you a more immersive experience. My one and only gripe is the keys wear over time, but who looks at their keyboard 24/7? Given that; great purchase! Highly recommended. Will buy from razer again. 🙂

Great keyboard, per-key RGB is the best
This keyboard is really nice. It's actually quieter and flatter than my previous membrane keyboard, if not a liiiitle mushy. And the per-key RGB, while the "16.8 million colors" is a little misleading (It's true, but that just means it has a normal color wheel and not like 7 pre-made colors), does look really nice. As for the complaints I see in other reviews, 1: the spyware. Just log out of synapse, and get project aurora (rgb peripheral program that's not spyware and supports all of the other rgb programs) and number 2, the keycaps being "upside-down"... um... so? Like, no, I'm not a "60 wpm typer", I'm just a below-average gamer who knows that the semicolon key... is also the colon key... see? ;:;:;:;: m a g i c a l. So yah, cool keyboard. Spyware's a thing to look out for. Apparently you might not be able to find the question mark button though.

Great full sized gaming keyboard
The RAZER Cynosa V2 membrane gaming keyboard is great for the price, good durability. Had it for almost a year. I really like this keyboard RGB lighting is bright, I can see what I am typing in the dark. Software for the keyboard is very simple to use, you can change the lighting to whatever color you want. You can even add effects to the lighting. Lighting is also compatible with some games that you play. This keyboard is spill resistant (Note: when you spill water on this keyboard make sure you unplug it immediately so minimal damage happens to the keyboard). Media keys works excellent. The 2 bad things I would like to point out is the keycap paint is coming off after almost a year of this keyboard being used. Also the spacebar is squeaky. You can probably fix the squeaky spacebar by using some WD-40. However, I never decided to do that (it never really bothered me). Overall this keyboard is a great membrane gaming keyboard. I recommend it, if the squeaky spacebar doesn't bother you and the keycaps paint starting to come off.
