Pretty good bang for your buck
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: If you're looking for a heavy duty pressure washer... this ain't it. What it is, however, is a pretty good power cleaner for its price. I bought it to blast some bird poop from my walkway and it handled that task like a champ. But, I would not recommend using this particular model for large area washing. PROS: • Very lightweight so you won't feel fatigued if you are using it for a longer period or if you need to climb a ladder to reach higher spots. • Easy to use. I used one hand while filming the attached video. • Strong enough to get grime off my outside walkway and patio area. • Surprisingly quieter than I expected. • Good price if you just need to do light to medium cleaning. CONS: • I don't know who would use the 2 liter bottle attachment. In a minute you're out of water anyways. • Fittings feel a bit cheap. I can imagine gouging them if you're not careful and try to force things where they don't belong. CONCLUSION: I'm happy with this purchase, although I now feel I should have ponied up for the 40V version for a bit more cleaning juice. I'm going to bring this puppy inside and see how it handles cleaning my shower. It's a great size if you don't have a lot of storage room for a real pressure washer, and if you aren't expecting to do an entire driveway quickly and easily.

Tricky to get hose to work the 1st time, but easier to handle afterwards
I really love this tool, it's great to wash my garage, water some plants, and clean the hard to reach spots outside of my house. My only issue is that it took purchasing this more than once in order to get the hose and/or the connector to work as it kept malfunctioning and would NOT pull water from the bucket. I even took this to Home Depot, convinced that I must be doing something wrong, and the worker there was stumped with what the issue was. It wasn't until I ordered a whole additional item that I found instructions to fill the entire hose with water before trying to use the attachment in a bucket. This allowed for the Hydroshot to finally do the work. Know that if you can't get it to work, it's not you. Order another and hope that one will work.

Portable, easy to use pressure washer - MUST PRIME FIRST!!
I bought this Worx Hydroshot for a few reasons. 1. Wash my bike after cyclocross (CX) racers 2. Wash my bikes after grimy road rides. 3. Wash my bikes in my basement during cold winter months. Because I am washing bikes, I didn't feel the need to find the most powerful pressure washer on the market. I wanted portability to throw it in the back of my car or use it quietly and without fumes in my house. This WORX unit fits the bill without breaking the bank. I wanted to drop a hose in a bucket of water and wash the dirt and muck off my bike. Maybe the occasional wash around of the house siding etc. The first thing I recommend is to prime the pump. The unit likely has ALOT of air in not allowing it to suction water from say a bucket or bottle as stated in the ad but needs help on first use. The tag hanging from the handle references this as well but no real instructions on how to do so. But of course, like many, I tried dropping the included hose into a bucket and hoping it would work instantly. This wasn't the case. First use with hose attachment and bucket provided NO WATER. After thinking and reading, I figured it needed to be primed. The best way I found is to hook the Hydoshot to a water hose, yes a good old-fashioned garden hose will do after you have it assembled or when the wand is screwed on. There is a quick connector in the box, attach that to your water hose, turn on the water and fire the Hydroshot. Let it run for like 3 mins or so. You'll likely hear and feel the unit spit and spurt as the air purges from the electric pump and as water ejects. After that the unit worked perfectly. The pressure is more than enough for my needs and the battery holds a good enough charge to wash many bikes over and over.

YUK!! Will not pump water!
This thing is a bust and waste of money. I have been working with this thing for a week and cannot get water to come up from a bucket through the hose to the unit. I've tried every way I can think of while trying to follow the directions as printed. It's a bummer. The first unit they sent was in a squashed factory box that was squashed before it was put in a shipping box. Then this one came. What a piece of junk! Save your money and save yourself the aggravation. Later: I tried a water hose which is a pain to use, I'm 87yo. It did produce a strong stream through the 0 degree nozzle, but the cleaned area is only 1/4 inch wide with nozzle up close (6 inches) and farther back is useless. A fifteen by eight foot area will take a decade to clean. I was trying to wash a 17 ft fiberglass trailer. Save your money. The other angles are worthless if you have mud or worse to wash off.

Prime pump
All the reviews about the unit not pumping water is true..the pump has to be primed first..because I'm using DI water, I couldn't connect to Faucet. Unit will NOT prime water by simply placing hose/tube in water and running for 30 seconds, or minutes for that matter. You need to fill hose/intake tube with water the best u can.( hold one end up so air bubbles will flow out) connect tube to gun, and the blow the open end to force water into the pump of the unit..(pain in the ass I know, but I've primed enough pumps to know) once you've got water into the units pump, it will prime and start spraying properly. It's a real pain, and don't believe the instructions when it says it may take up to 30 seconds for the gun to suck up water to prime the pump....it won't....you have to force water into the gun to prime it ...once primed, seems to work fine....more than fine...the unit is exactly what I needed to rinse cars off with DI/distilled water to prevent water spots..it ashamed that the instructions really don't give you much info for priming the pump..there are alot of complaints about the this problem, and it looks like product is bad, in reality it works perfectly, and i love it...just needs to be primed

Not as powerful as I would like
I purchased this about a month ago in early June and I have to say, its my least favorite tool from Worx that i have purchased. I bought it for a couple of reasons. I have other Worx tools so it's battery could be used with the others in the Worx family. Also I wanted a small pressure washer to replace my electric one to use mostly on the wheels of my truck and my driveway. Well it is a pressure washer, but doesn't have the power I was hoping for. I've used it 3 times now and it just doesn't remove the brake dust like the electric washer. If you put it on 0 setting, you get a straight high pressure stream but it's very difficult to clean wheels with the small stream. I used the 15 setting for the wheels and the driveway. It probably will work better to maintain clean wheels, meaning if you use it weekly, it might work for you, it's just not strong enough for my liking.

Works so well the neighbors will order one after seeing you use it!
My husband has used this washer several times already to rinse the salt off of our vehicles on warm winter days. He loves the ease of use because it is battery operated and he can just draw water out of a pail, so it is super portable. He did have a problem getting it working at first, and when he called the help desk, they told him to hook it up to a hose. It worked immediately after that and has operated flawlessly since. Our neighbor saw him using it and asked to borrow it to rinse off his vehicle, and now he wants to buy one!

Worked Great For Me
99% of the negative reviews must be from people who fail to read the manual.... After receiving mine, I read the manual, charged the battery all night like you should any rechargeable battery and fully primed the unit before using it. It has worked very well for me. I got it to rinse the salt off of the truck this winter, as this unit is portable and can do it. I learned several things after using it: 1. READ THE MANUAL, there are several key points you have to do assembling it and running it. 2. CHARGE THE BATTERY FULLY. Charge the rechargeable battery all night, even though the green fully charged light comes on. Rechargeable batteries have a memory. 3. PRIME IT PRIME IT PRIME IT. I primed mine with the garden hose attached, battery off and squeezing the handle until water came out the tip for 15 seconds. I then attached the battery and ran it. Too many people I believe aren't properly priming the pump and the pressure washer is failing. Prime it every time. 4. USES REGULAR PRESSURE WASHER TIPS. Not mentioned in the manual. The multi adjustment tip only sprays the water out in a flat stream, I prefer a straight up and down fan. You can only do this with a regular pressure washer tip and I use the 15 deg one all the time now. 5. SHORT WAND. The short wand you can order separately increases working pressure considerably compared to the long wand provided. I use the short one all the time now. Using the short wand and 15 deg pressure washer tip work great. Certainly gets all of the salt off the truck! I went around it 2X and still had 2 bars out of 3 on the rechargeable battery 😃
