GelishMINI Soak-Off Gel Polish

I love gelish and swear by some of my colors. I ordered 4 this time and the first teal one was watery making the application nearly impossible even doing one nail at a time. It would pull away from the edges before curing. And after all the labor I put into it, it was coming off most of my nails the next day which has only ever happened to me with cheap brands on Amazon. I’m not sure what was going on here. The color was amazing but it’s going in the trash. The second pictured blue was also tough to apply, but not quite as bad and lasted the better part of a week which is fairly normal for me.Customer service was very quick to refund me for the one defective polish and I will definitely try this seller again.

I have other Gelish polish that I love but this bottle is defective. It goes on fine, full vibrant color (1st picture) but after a couple of days, the color disappears (2nd and 3rd pictures). This is the second time I tried it. I thought the first time this happened was a fluke. But this product isn’t returnable and the Gelish website is no help either. The phone number says they’re closed and gives their operating hours, which I called during. So that’s $$$ wasted. Ugh.

I love the durability and extended wear time of Gelish polish when I use the Gelish mail prep, base & top coat. After discovering that Sally Beauty discontinued stocking Gelish polish and switched to dip powders I tried order my Gelish minis online but have consistently found that the photos just aren’t accurate to the actual polish. Please Gelish show the polish color instead of the packaging color.

I’ve used Gelish polish for close to 15 years. I’ve always liked the quality. This bottle holds true. Goes on easy and smooth. Cures beautifully. Highly recommend.

The color was super cute and did not take many coats. Plus it cured well and wasn’t tacky.

Thought it would be a deep teal color like the picture. It’s actually a lighter teal. Still very pretty, but not what I thought it would be.

I've decided to officially stop buying "generic" brand gel polish. So many over the years because hey why not it's so much cheaper than the name brand/salon gel polish. I've been struggling with other brand polish coming off too quick, but gelish polish stays on for a couple of weeks. My job requires a lot of hand washing and hand sanitizing. I won't be buying another brand again.
