ZECOSturdy Fit School Shorts in Eco-Fabric

My son has always been on the larger size, both in height and girth, so finding school uniform to fit comfortably has become a struggle. After reading reviews about this brand I took the plunge and ordered (the size he’s wearing in non-school clothes) and I couldn’t be happier! They are roomy (so will hopefully see him through next summer) without being too baggy; the material is quality and they are well made. Wash and dry well too. Well worth the money. Quick delivery from the seller, so top marks all round!

It has taken me a long time while to find a pair of school shorts to fit my son. He’s very tall for his age with a chunky middle and a high waist. These were the only pair I found that actually fit him. I have bought the school trousers too. The fabric appears hard wearing although as a consequence quite stiff. I would imagine they will soften after a couple of washes.

Great shorts but even based on my son's waist measurement and allowing for growth the size I bought was whey too big on him all round, so I would say definitely go down a size down to what you think. For example i bought 13-14 yrs based on the waist measurements, but actually the size down will probably be more appropriate. Not sending them back though as keeping them for next year or the year after. I must add that the quality does feel really good, a decent thickness to the material so no worries about them literally wearing out too quickly.

We usually have trouble with buying school trousers, these fit perfectly if a little big! Room for tummy and elasticated at the back so they dont fall down. We usually have to buy 13-14 for our 8 year old but got the 11-12 and they're a little big! Will be buying this brand from now on, would give 10* if I could! Lovely thick material aswell.

I have a big 9 year old (almost 10) and these are the only shorts which fit him comfortably and look smart too.I bought them last year too and they lasted brilliantly through the summer months.

I bought this for my 7.5 year old who is quite big for his age, when worn around the tummy his measurement 30-31". They were tight, hence had to return for a refund. Anyone looking for that measurement should get the next size up. After this I ordered 9-10 thinking they'll be a better fit, but I was so wrong!! They fitted loosely around the waist, but look absolutely massive. So had to return these as well! Return postage is not free.

the sizing compared to other shops come up big, my son got 11-12 plus size trousers from a high street shop, i ordered these shorts in same size thinking that they would fit, nope they are huge. have to pay to return and reorder in smaller sizes

Great quality and fit, my son is a big 8 year old and he loves the shorts very comfy.
