SmartShunt Battery Monitor (Bluetooth) - Victron Smart Shunt - 6.5V-70V, 1000 amp

This is a great product. Installed on my house batteries and took less then an hour to install with one 14 gage wire connected to the positive terminal and one short standard high amperage cable between the shunt post and negative post, and then you go ahead and pair your smart phone and that’s it. You do have to download the app and make sure you go in to settings and enter your batteries total amp hour ratings. The app provides all the data you will ever need. I’m going to get another one for my inverter batteries, once I figure out the maximum amperage that would run through the shunt.

A nit pricey, but it works well. Installed in an RV battery bay. The blue tooth signal reaches a phone in the area above the battery bay, but not at the driver's seat. Good enough for occasional monitoring of power consumption, though I wish the signal would reach the front of the RV.

I built a golf cart that has become a bit more capable than just chasing your shot on the course. After upgrading everything and adding Lithium batteries I started to have some concerns that charging/discharging certain amounts, at certain times might become an issue. With lithium batteries, charging at temps below freezing will destroy batteries. Combining this with a temp sensor, I was able to prove this blocks all voltage when reaching certain temperatures. This also took the max Amps I could produce (675A), and worked as you think it should. The VictronConnect software is very simple, but includes all of the information youd want, as well as keeps a history. You are also able to network the shunt to the temp sensor so there is no latency between decisions, or discrepancy in voltages. The bluetooth connection was fine, reaches 20 feet through three house walls

Works well and a good way to keep up with battery usage. It has a weak blue tooth signal. I have to put my phone down at the floor of the Motorhome to pick up signal.

Easy to install

Nice unit great features easy install. Can not get to Bluetooth with my iPhone 13pro max, but works well with iPad. Must be within 15’ with iPad to work.

I have this shunt, 3 lithium batteries, and bus bars installed in my camper. Prior to installing the shunt I never had an accurate picture of what my battery status really was. The little lights that are installed on most campers are basically worthless when it comes to details about the battery status. I can track hours remaining, energy used for devices running on battery, along with a number of other parameters, and alarms. The shunt was relatively easy to install with the parallel battery bank and shunts. Do your research and draw yourself a wiring diagram and you should have no problems.

These blue products are a bit pricey, but they work well and are very good quality. You get what you pay for. A shunt is required for good battery management. My house bank is 780AH so this size was needed. Works well so far.
