U won't regret this additon to your learning Manga collection...promise!
What can I say, except this is a good one, beautifully illustrated. Starts with the basics and goes into character development, building backgrounds, different types of allies and enemies, even narrative and layout. Again the basics, but what I also really loved was the time spent in explaining the history of how the elements of Manga storytelling came to be. I learned more that just how to draw a face, or a clothing style, etc..but why and how these standards came to be. Great book, I have read it many times, and rework the illustration tutorials over and over. Buy it!

Great toys that look great
I've only had these for a couple of weeks, so I won't rate it based on durability. So far, nothing is broken. These toys look great and is a must for any HTTYD fan. This is a big improvement over the toys that were released from the first movie

but when I opened it up it somehow wasn't as great as I remember
I got this years ago, gave it to a friend because I didn't think I needed it anymore and regretted it. I bought it again and was very excited, but when I opened it up it somehow wasn't as great as I remember... Don't get my wrong, when I was first starting out I loved it, but after having a bit more experience you notice little things, like how some of the example pictures seem a bit awkward (there was one in particular where the muscles looked pretty bad). I ended up donating it to the library because while I don't particularly like it anymore, I'm sure younger kids would.TL;DR Not awful, but you may be better off looking elsewhere. Younger audiences just starting out may enjoy it (I believe I was 13 or 14 when I purchased it at first).

Wow
I got this for my daughters benefit, even though I look through it as well for reference. This book is COMPLETE! If you're into Anime/Manga then this book will not disappoint. It covers every aspect of how to draw the characters and accessories. Probably one of the best "how to" books I've seen in 30+ years of doing artwork

Very Much Loved
This was given as a gift to my boyfriend's son who enjoys art and wanted to get in to Manga art. He absolutely LOVED this book. I also liked this book because it gives some of the basics of drawing for any type of drawing, not just Manga, as well as other tips on how to use color.

Not bad at all
This book is not for those just starting out with drawing. It should be used as a reference for those who have somewhat of an understanding of drawing. Other than that, it does a good job in going over the art supplies you"ll need and some cool techniques to try out.

THE ART IS LACKING
The size of the book is bigger than expected... However the art used to explain everything isn't all that great...

Son loves it
My son loves it. I'm trying to encourage him to draw so what better way to do it? He got into watching Dragon Ball Z and he's loving the art style. This book has a good amount of pictures and instructions to promote his skills.
