Love Febreze - Gain Scent is Nice
Ever since Febreze came out, I've been a user and believer. Although it doesn't completely eliminate odors (I tried using it on a used couch I bought on Craigslist), it does a nice job masking odors at initial spray and removing them to a degree after the fragrance goes away. With that, I've always been adamant of having at least one bottle around the house for those "emergency" situations where I needed to remove odors in a pinch. But Febreze is expensive. The cost per bottle has come up and depending on where you shop, one bottle can be around $5 in my area. To me, the generics that have now come out don't really work as well. So I'll only buy it when I have a coupon. But what I discovered is that Amazon often has coupons for Febreze and some of the items are eligible for subscribe and save. So what's aweome is that I got this two pack of Febreze w/ Gain scent for $5.45 ($3 off coupon plus 15% off subscribe and save). If I can continue getting two Febreze bottles for a little over $5, then count me in.As for the scent, I normally get the original Febreze scent and the only "scent" of Gain that I know of is the dryer sheets that I use. When I tested this Febreze, the scent was a light, floral-springtime scent. It's very pleasant and not so overpowering that it will give you headaches. I've definitely please with this product, especially w/ the fact that it's available so cheaply on Amazon.

Make everything Gain fresh...
PACKAGINGThe package design is straightforward and the semi-translucent bottle makes it easy to tell how much product remains.SCENT & EFFICACYThe scent is a very pleasant general "laundry fresh" type scent -- VERY reminiscent of, but not 100% identical to Original Gain laundry detergent. Since Gain and Febreze are both made by Proctor and Gamble, the cross marketing makes sense, and as someone who loves the fresh 'green' smell of Gain, I must admit to being in love with this product.Remember that the primary way Febreze works is by making the bad smells go away (check out the wikipedia article for Febreze, it's pretty interesting). The added fragrance is just a nice bonus, and is not meant to be a strong masking scent.Deodorizing power is good, and comparable to other Febreze formulations. What is different is of course the scent. I find the other scents on offer too perfumey or cloying, and the smell of of original Extra Strength Febreze -- while not unpleasant -- has become somewhat of an olfactory cliche, and is instantly recognizable as the "this shirt/chair/car seat/jacket actually smells pretty awful, but rather than wash/clean it, I febrezed it" smell.USING THE PRODUCTSpray article evenly until slightly damp. Allow to air dry. Repeat if necessary. Still funky after second spray-down? Just wash the darn thing. Standard Febreze fare.RECOMMENDATIONRecommended for purchase: Yes

Does a great job of eliminating odors!
Febreze with Gain ScentI found this Febreze scent to be the best because of the fresher scent compared to the Downy, Sport, and other scents. However, as with the other Febreze refreshers, it is not intended to be an air freshener like Glade. Febreze will eliminate odors from carpets, clothing, and fabrics. I use the Febreze mainly for car interiors and trunks, as well as some of my coats and backpacks. The pump sprays out quite a bit of liquid. After spraying it conservatively in 3 different cars, I've consumed over half the bottle. The liquid also takes a long time to dry, and it seems that it would stain fabrics at first but I've always found that it disappears when completely dry. I'd still recommend testing it in a small area first.Overall: 4/5 stars, it gets used up very quickly but it does a great job of removing odors from fabrics.

This product is amazing
I had some clothes that had a nasty odor I couldn't get rid of. I washed them half a dozen times, but the smell never went away. I was getting to the point where I didn't think it possible to eliminate the stench, but I saw this advertised and I thought I'd try it.I had read the reviews that said you had to apply this fairly generously, make sure it's good and damp, so that's what I did. It took a while to dry, but when it was dry, the odor was gone from all but one olive shirt. And even with the olive shirt that still had the odor, the stench was much weaker.I was pretty impressed, but I decided to hold off on writing a review until after I washed these clothes, thinking that maybe when the Gain fragrance was gone, the stench might be noticeable again. I'm glad that didn't turn out to be the case. I've washed all of the clothes, and there's no stench at all in any of them--not even the olive shirt that still had a minor stench! For now, I don't need more since I still have over a full bottle left. But if I ever needed it again, I would buy this product again in a heartbeat.

I will be buying more
I have 2 dogs, so needless to say no matter how much I clean, there is still some dog scent that I am always trying to get rid of. I went on-line and read the reviews for this product and mostly they were good, so I decided to give it a try. It came in a 2 pack and I am 1/2 way thru the first bottle. Its so easy to use, I love the smell, its clean and fresh without being too much and the odor does go away for a while. It does come back and so then I just get the bottle out again. When these bottles are gone, I will be buying more. Its a small price to pay so my house does not smell like dog!

Offensive smell: mde me choke
I have been using fabreze for over 20 years. I have witnessed the improvements that the company has made throughput that time. This product does perform like a fabreze product. The odor is offensive and it lingers dispite my airing out the room. Also I have to leave immediately after spraying because it causes choking, which never happened to me before.

It really does mask odors
I was always skeptical of febreze's commercials, but now that I own a couple of febreze sprayers, I can honestly say they work friggin well! They really do mask odors and not just blend in with the odors. They are amazing. If you have a smelly house/kitchen/stuff, I would buy febreze if I was you.
