Unbeatable Value
In terms of overall value, these are incredible. I have MANY different brands of gloves in my collection that cost exponentially more than these. The overall design is intelligent and the execution is spot on. I can only speak for the 12oz, but the wrist padding/protection is soft, so parrying/catching punches might not feel great. But the wrist support is excellent. The knuckle padding is med-firm and is extremely protective without being too "pillowy". Velcro is very strong, stitching is almost flawless. Fit is snug but plenty of room in the hand compartment to use my 180" hand wraps. It's a little on the stiff side, but nothing significant for new gloves. The thumb is angled perfectly and is very easy to tuck out of the way. The liner is very smooth and doesn't bunch up anywhere, but it is slightly on the warm side. Not sure how the build components will hold up long term, but at this price it's basically irrelevant. These would be ideal beginner gloves. You wont find any better value in my opinion.

The Gold Standard for Beginners
โThe Best Starting Point Sanabul gloves are undoubtedly one of the top choices for anyone starting out in boxing or combat sports. Their standout feature is immediate comfort; unlike many entry-level brands, these donโt require a long "break-in" period and feel natural from the very first session. โUnderstanding the Purpose: Entry-Level vs. High-Performance It is crucial to understand what you are buying: this is a high-quality entry-level glove. โFor Beginners: They are excellent. The padding does a perfect job protecting your knuckles during technique drills and light bag work. โThe Recommendation: If you plan on heavy daily use or multiple training sessions per day with high-impact power, my logical advice would be to look for a higher-tier glove (such as professional-grade brands). The foam in entry-level gloves tends to compress faster under the stress of constant, high-intensity training.

Great boxing glove and handwrap combo for training and competition!
I've been using these both for Muay Thai and boxing workouts for years now. These are new pairs that I purchased because I wanted a different color and size. 16oz Glove Pros: - Fits my hand very well - Superior wrist support to her previous pair - A+ shock absorbtion - Comfortable out of the box (bag?) - Her handwraps fit comfortably underneath - Super cool iridescent look - Sweet mesh carrying bag with straps that will definitely be used to carry and store these - Amazing price for the quality + the bag! 16oz Glove Cons: - They may not fit someone with super small hands Great gloves and love the black on black look. I have two other pairs that are still not worn out after years of use, but I rotate Sanabul gloves with workouts to change it up. 180" Handwrap Pros: - If you want a longer length than the 120", these have you covered - Super stretchy with solid hook and loop closure - Great price and designs 180" Handwrap Cons: - If you sweat a ton, you'll want to wash them once and a while -- I rotate pairs and then wash them all at once I saw other reviews complaining about stains, but I haven't experienced that with the four pairs of Sanabul handwraps that I own (3 in 120" and 1 in 180") . I imagine that they were likely from the dying process where different colors could have spilled on the fabric? Bottom line: I highly recommend this combination!

Good Boxing Gloves for the Price
***UPDATE - March 2021 - this is a two year update on the below initial review. As stated, for the price point my experience is that this is the best glove on the market, especially for beginners. The glove has held up pretty well, although it was used a lot less last year due to COVID. I can begin to tell the wear on the gloves such as the white paint fading away and the Velcro fastener starting to begin to lose some of its grip. After gaining more experience with boxing with pads, heaving bag, and occasional sparring, I can tell you that now that the gloves are quite bulky and the hand compartment is large (and I have decent sized hands). Highly recommended to use with wrist wraps more for wrist support than knuckles which are well padded from the gel foam. I believe however it is time for me to move on to a more intermediate glove and keep these as a spare pair. In researching, the next choices for me would be either Rival or Cleto Reyes boxing gloves! โโโโโ I am a male approximately 200 lbs with good sized hands and needed a new pair of heavy weight (16oz) boxing gloves to replace my old Proforce gloves which I had for over 15 years. I looked and shopped around for almost 2+ months and wanted to get a pair of good gloves that would hopefully last me just as long but did not want to spend an arm and a leg for a pair. Was looking at the Hayabusa T3 gloves which look great and had great reviews but a pair costs over $175+. Thought for the low price I would go with these Sanasbulโs (in Metallic Blue) to give it a try; and they look great. I have used them in my martial arts classes to spar and hit focus mitts and the heavy bag about 2-3x a week for approximately 1.5 months now. I can say that they fit comfortable (a little stiff at first but required some break in time), are well padded and overall work very well. My only minor complaint is that the white paint on the gloves [strike zones] are already beginning to fade but other than that I would have gave it 5 stars especially for the price point.

They are a knock out !
Got my first KO with these on. Im a muy-thai fool and these are the real deal. Punch harder and faster with these gloves on. In all seriousness - good gloves, worth the $ and as advertised. Fit well and support the wrist. Long lasting, well as long as I could keep them clean and not getting too smelly. Durable, the gloves outlasted me in every single workout. Get some.

I need to go smaller
Great gloves but still a bit bigger for me. Need to downsize

Great for price
Great gloves for a beginner or teen. Used 2x a week for over a year before they started peeling around the seams. For the price I feel like thatโs pretty good.

Good for a short amount of use
Was decent at first. After 1 hour a week of use for about 5 months the material on the outside started peeling off. Trying a different brand now
