Will this work with a regular bike?

We have a regular adult bike and it works just fine. It's a little noisy but it does the job!

Can you use the bicycle stand with a folding Dahon bike?

This trainer is for a bike with a quick release rear axle. This trainer fits 700c or 26in wheels. If you Dahon bike fits those specs then it will work.

No, our trainers are designed to work with a 26" - 28" and 700cc wheel.

Do i need to change the axle

You do need to have a quick release axle and this product comes with a skewer to swap out when you are using the trainer.
