i want to replace the outside cameras with these. i have dvr, wired, all ready to go. are they plug and play, or a lot of configuing need to be done?

100% Ready to go. There is a dongle near the camera, you need to push and hold the dongle's switch to the Up, Down, Left, Right position and release after 5 Seconds. This is to change the camera to the desired resolution. Up-Analog, Down-CVI, Left-AHD and Right-TVI. This can only be done after the camera is plugged in. (I tried with the camera unplugged and it did not change until after I plugged it in.) Does 100% Have a crisp clean video.

My question is with the quality of the camera and not the dvr. can you please advise. i already have a dvr.
