My wife has been getting into calligraphy during the pandemic and we are both generally fans of doing crafts. That is not to say that either of us are artists (as you can probably see by the images I’ve added to this review. These pens are great, you can use them like a normal pen for colouring, with a thick end for doing large letters or filling a big area and a fine tip end for adding details. However the best thing about these pens is if you add some water with a brush you can use these like watercolours. You’re probably asking “why would you not just use watercolour paint?” Well if like me you are not great at art, but still want to great something nice the pens allow you to be far more precise than watercolour paints, while still giving you the nice blended effect of a watercolour. I’ve not tried using them for calligraphy, but my wife has been using them for this and she loves them. At £10 these were an absolute bargain and I suspect if at any point we need a new set, I will be buying these again.

I bought these to use in a new bullet journal, and I do not regret it! They're absolutely fantastic, the brush end is perfect for calligraphic style writing, as well as drawing, and the fine end is perfect for everything else. It's really stepped up my game!

I love these colours but I would not have described them as brushes, they are more like a pen than a brush. The colours are brilliant, vibrant and with plenty of depth.I would be happy to purchase them again.

The pens are okay. The brush end is nice to colour with. However the two lightest colours in the pack don’t come out the colour you’d expect. They’re very weak. I thought they’d be cute baby pinks but they’re a very weak beige (if you look at the sofa in the third picture). 2 or 3 of the pens are leaky. I didn’t test them first so I ruined a couple of my colourings! After colouring about 2 to 3 full pages, the colours have started to run out. I’ve used brown a lot across those pages so they’ve run out the most. The greens are all great - I love them. And the reds. The purple is running out as well as a blue and I haven’t used those as much. So they are lovely pens, just they don’t last very long at all! Which seems like a waste considering they're £10!

These pens are lovely colours, but many of them leak horrendously! My child was so disappointed to have their artwork ruined by these pens leaking all over them. They also got ink on their hands and clothes. Sadly I decanted the pens into a pencil case to give them as a gift, and in the process discarded the original packaging, otherwise I would return them for a refund. Instead they are setting aside the worst offenders, which I will discard.
