Very attractive but not washing machine friendly
The description for this hat fails to state that it is "spot clean only". Before I read that on the hat, I washed it in my front load washer. The brim of the hat has some kind of roll in it and that separated at each end during the wash. However, I was able to work the hat over the roll to get the two ends back together and plan to stitch them in place with yarn and a yarn needle.I also ordered the same hat in the wine color. It arrived after I machine washed the black one so I knew it couldn't be tossed in the washer. Instead, I tried washing the wine one by hand in Woolite and it worked perfectly. I rolled the hat in a towel to squeeze out the excess rinse water and hung it on a door knob to dry. So, if you prefer (as I do) to have a hat that can be washed this one will meet that need if washed by hand.

I have trouble finding knit hats that fit my head, bc as a 5'9 1/2 female, my head is a little (not a lot) on the big side. I think this hat could range from smaller, to med, to large - not extra large, or a really thick head of hair - comfortably.👍

I bought this to match a brown chenille muffler that I already own. Feels soft and warm
This is my favorite cold weather hat. It fits as snug as a typical knit hat but it has a pretty shape in the roll brim. It will pack nicely for travelling and can be worn all day if you are having a bad hair day.

Light and flexible
My brown hat that looks like this one is thicker and heavier with a firm brim. This version is lighter which I like, but I prefer a more reinforced brim. I ordered 2 colors, but the brim on one hat is flatter. It might not be noticeable without the second hat to compare. I am keeping both.

Great hat
I needed something for the cold weather and I did not want one with the big pom poms or a big brim. This is perfect. Fits well, stays on, does not itch. Only wish it was machine washable.

Don't waste your money
I have a small head and this just about fit. 1/2" bigger head and I would not be able to put it on. It seems warm enoughbut in no way could it be worn as in the picture.

Great buy
I love this hat. Here in Florida it can get cold but only for the need of a light hat. This is perfect. I loved it so much I bought more than one for my church members.
