Manuscript Classic Calligraphy Cartridge Pen 5 Nib Set

Pens work awesome however 2 of the 4 inks had already been punctured and leaked all over the box.

Very disappointed with the quality - no band on the barrel to lock the cap on - the fine point nib was defective and did not transfer ink to the page.

I have this set a few days and have had no issues with it. It writes well and I like being able to have everything in one case and switch bibs easily. It does take a while to get the ink flowing. That is why I did not give it 5 stars. I almost thought it was not going to write and then after scribbling in my fourth or fifth line it finally started flowing well. Found that to be the case for each nib. Overall I am very satisfied with pen set.

I’ve got much, much more expensive fountain pens - vintage & modern - but this one, by far, is probably my favorite in the entire collection...no kidding.This was one of my first pens way before I started amassing a collection. Because it’s plastic, and feels really light in the hand, I wrongly thought that if I could just get a more robust, heavier pen, it would be “better”.Well, after almost 10 years, and thousands of dollars, this is the ONLY pen that is almost always inked, and ready to go.They tend to write “dry”, which I really like, as you can see in the photos.A pen is only as good as the hand that’s holding it.

The one star is because the set I received did not have the left-handed oblique nibs. There is a leaflet inside to send off for the left handed nibs (which is what is meant by the left handed nib exchange on the packet) This is free, however you still have to pay the postage fee. I was able to get a refund and have since bought the left handed set direct from the Manuscript website.The pen itself is great and works well (just as long as you get the correct nibs!)

This is ideal for me.Being lefthanded can sometimes be frustrating,trying to buy pliers scissors and other things is a bit of a pest. Its a good job someone thought to make implements for us

Being left handed can be difficult on occasion. This left hand calligraphy pen is very good. I am pleased with it and will enjoy using it.

How can you justify advertising this as a left handed calligraphy set when it comes with right handed nibs? What an absolute joke! Disgraceful.
