Incense Cedarwood, 50 Sticks with Ceramic Incense Holder, Key Note: Cedarwood, Japanese Style Incense, Nippon Kodo

It smells like cedar, very little to argue about there. The smell isn't as overpowering as others I have tried and lingers for a small time, It reminds me of a cedar forest. There are three points I would like to bring up, first of all their size. They are much smaller than expected. If you don't have a ruler available put $1.25 in quarters side to side and you have around the size of a stick. Second, while being heavily advertised as made in Japan both on the Internet and on the box, a quick look at the side of the packaging will say otherwise. And finally I want bring up a point another reviewer did, their breakability. While they are easily breakable with a little force they are far from fragile. There should be no problem putting them into a holder. All around it is a good product.

I love this. Amber and Sandalwood are my favorite Morning Star scents, with Cedarwood in third. The smell is soft and subtle, but burn around three sticks and it smells better than the Amber resin that I usually use. This is cheaper and so much easier to burn. I am so glad I purchased a 200 pack. I purchased the 200 pack without even knowing what it smelled like, but since I liked the Sandalwood, I figured nothing in Morning Star can be terrible, and I was right. I've now tried ALL of their scents, including the new ones like Grass and Aqua, and Amber and Sandalwood are the top scents in my opinion. For the price, I would say buy a pack of Sandalwood and Amber or Cedarwood rather than the 12 Fragrance Assortment.

Love the fragrance. Good quality incense but so very fragile. I have broken several just trying to get them inserted in the little holders. Wish they made these with sticks like usual incense. I feel there is a little bit of wasted end where they sit in the holder. Wonderful cedar smell, tho.

Love the smell of these. It's almost time to order the next box. Unlike most incense, this smells soft, clearly cedar wood but not chemically. Highly recommended!

We have a fireplace at our lake house, but the way it is built, we really can't smell the burning wood in the house, but it makes the outside smell wonderful! I wanted to get this Cedarwood incense so the inside of our house would smell just like the fireplace. When I received the incense, I was a little hesitant. It didn't smell that great in the box. However, once I lit it, it smelled JUST LIKE cedar! My only complaint, the sticks are a little short so they burn quickly but really not a big deal. I will be buying many more of these! There is nothing like a cozy fireplace, in the middle of winter, with the sweet comforting smell of cedar!

The price was very good for 50 sticks, even if they were shorter than the average stick. The burner that comes with the sticks is a very pretty ceramic piece. My problem is the way these sticks smelled burning. I bought them because previous reviews compared them to the scent of a fireplace. I did catch whiffs of this, but it also had strong overtones that I would compare to marijuana...not pleasant to me at all. I may try another scent in this brand in the future, because the sticks were VERY slow burning, last around 30 minutes each.

Yes, these are brittle and can easily break IF you try to place them in an incense holder with narrow holes. HOWEVER, each box includes a tiny (yet heavy enough) ceramic incense holder just big enough to hold one incense stick perfectly. You shouldn't have any problems if you use the included incense holder. If you want to burn more than one at a time with the incense holder, though, you'll have to buy several boxes. Also, these have a fantastic scent. I don't have a fireplace, but this incense makes it smell like I do.

Was very excited to think I was getting a great incense scent - but was very disappointed to find out I'd essentially bought Patchouli sticks (I loathe Patchouli). Also, they don't stay lit.

No estaba seguro si me gustaría el incienso de cedro. Y sí, me agrada mucho, al menos el de esta marca. Es bastante suave; tal vez pediría que fuera un poco más duradero el olor, que las barritas duraran más. Ya tengo otro incienso entre mis favoritos.

This is one of my favorites because it's subtle, helps me sleep and smells divine. The shipment came ahead of schedule as well.
