Book was delivered quickly and in great condition.

I was drawn to this title as I love both architecture and nature. One gets the feeling of the solitude and calmness living in a retreat type setting can bring. I was amazed at the place all over the world that are shown, and many in the US, which show houses set in natural settings, and seem to bring a message of relaxation.

This book highlights very impressive (and high budget) residential architecture. Each project is listed by its owner and location, and well, they are all beautiful and designed with very specific requirements in mind. For an architect, I think this would be a useful book to have. For me, I just like to get ideas and one day hope to design my own home that my husband and I can build ourselves (as much as possible). While the homes highlighted in this book are way out of my budget limits, they are beautiful and offer interesting ideas and ways to dream.

Nice mainstream projects; Not forward-looking or thought provoking.

My husband loved it. The MSRP is much more money! This was a great buy.

Good book of different homes - modern and blending in with nature. Great to look at when you're just relaxing in the afternoon.

Reading this and looking at its stunning photos made me feel like (to quote Kurt Vonnegut): "everything was beautiful and nothing hurt."
